Welcome to the forum!
Yes, Jesus Christ is real, His love is real, his sacrifice on the cross to atone for our sins is real and his resurrection is real.
I don't know where you are at in your walk, but during my conversion I prayed constantly for more wisdom (James 1:5) to understand and believe the gospel and for God to give me faith. It came to me.
It was also recommended to me to read the Gospel of John a few times carefully and studiously to become more familiar with who Jesus is and the extent of my sin and my need for a savior.

The best thing of all: God Loves You! He really, truly does (John 3:16) It is for you that all of these things happened.
I remember to try and put aside whatever prejudice the world may have worked into my life and read his Word with an open mind and heart.

:amen: Welcome to the Family Brother! Jesus is VERY VERY REAL! I know I struggled with the same question for years and it took me a long time to finally accept it. Questioning is a good thing, that just means your getting closer to the answer. His name is Jesus.

Yes, Jesus is real. He was born in Bethlehem, Judea, he grew up in Nazareth, Galilee, and he taught his fellow Jews. He performed all manner of healings as evidence that he was not just another prophet wannabe, but instead was the only true Son of God.

He also died as an atoning sacrifice for our sins so that we might be reunited with our Creator. And through his own conquering of death he has conquered death for all who choose to accept his sacrifice as efficacious to us.

Yes Jesus is real. His disciples wrote about him. His disciples disciples wrote about him and even the Jewish historian Josephus wrote about him. He's an actual historical figure who can't be denied as never existing as some proclaim.

Bart Ehrman is one of the most educated new testament secularist/atheists in modern time. He recently wrote a book entitled:-

"Did Jesus Exist? historian and Bible expert Bart Ehrman confronts these questions, vigorously defends the historicity of Jesus, and provides a compelling portrait of the man from Nazareth. "

Please note, I am NOT recommending Bart as a study for New Christians. In fact if you're not very comfortable in your faith and very well versed in Christian apologetics it's probably better to avoid reading him for the moment.

However if Bart admits it, well lol there's probably not much room for discussion.

So did the historical Jesus of Nazareth exist?

Yes we're as certain as you can be that he did from a purely historical point of view.

Jesus is the central figure of Christianity. He said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me," (John 14:6).

Right now, in heaven, Jesus is still in the form of a man: "For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Tim. 2:5).

Jesus never did anything wrong. He performed many miracles such as healing, casting out demons, walking on water, calming a storm with the command, raising people from the dead, and rising from the dead himself. Though there have been many great teachers throughout history, none of them have performed such miracles and claimed to be divine as Jesus claimed. This is why we can believe Him when He says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me," (John 14:6)

Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and you shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: where I go, you cannot come.

Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he said, Where I go, you cannot come.

And he said unto them, You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world.

I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins.

Then said they unto him, Who are you? And Jesus said unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning

Throughout all the centuries, there have been always true believers, who kept the Word of God in its originality, because they appreciated it, and also feared God.

God cares enough for his Word, to make sure that it is kept in its originality.

The moral law, the ten commandments, are coded on the heart of every man, his conscience. They must be created, from somebody who is moral.

In all of creation, we see expressed a thought, wisdom and purpose, which shows, that there is somebody who thinks – God.

The Bible is a historical book, with recorded historical events.

If Jesus is the Word, how can the Bible not be true?

John 1:1-3, Jeremiah 1:12, Isaiah 55:10,11, Acts – 5:38, 39, 1 Peter 1:23-25, 1 Corinthians 15:5, 6, 30, 31, Matthew 5:18, 24:35, Psalm 119:89, Psalm 138:2, Romans 1:19, 20, 2:14, 15, Luke 1:1-4, 2:1-3, 16:17, Revelation 22:18,19, Matthew 2:6, 4:24,25, 7:16-20, 9:26,35, 11:20-23, 12:33, 12:40-42, 19:4-6, Luke 6:43, 44, Ezra 1:4, Hebrews 2:3,4
