Just hoping to tell him that the circle from the pebble he threw 7 years ago continues to get bigger.

Jeff sent me a rosary, a Patrick Madrid book and some more Catholic info about 7 years ago now when I was a brand new Christian and was being called to the Catholic Church. I came here to this very site and got to know a bunch of people at OBOB.

Well, due to fear and stupidity, I ignored that call for a few more years until I had a near-death experience which was enough for me to finally say "Ok God, I'll go to the Catholic Church now." Best decision of my life.

Jeff knows that part. What he doesn't know is that my best friend in the world is becoming Catholic now too. When I first told her that I was becoming Catholic, her first words were "Oh, I don't agree with that at all Paula" and we had our first ever and only fight.

2 years later with NO debates, just God's prompting and a lot of EWTN radio, she is in RCIA. God is good. She also has a 5 year old son who will grow up Catholic now too. I pray that she finds herself a nice Catholic man to marry one day.

I should also mention that another person that God brought into my life from another circle is also joining RCIA this year. AND, her dad is a lapsed Catholic and he has been joining her at Mass lately as well.

Do you see the beautiful work Jeffery? Do you see how it never really ends? God bless you dear brother. You have changed LIVES! I thank you humbly.

That sounds great! I used to be a non-Christian and converted to the Catholic Church a long time ago. I can relate to your experience of putting it off. I put it off for a couple of years before deciding to go for it. I found out after becoming Catholic that it's not always easy. There's a lot of anti-Catholicism from people that you have to deal with, but I would never trade my Catholic faith for anything else. May God continue to bless you.

I put it off for more selfish reasons. I had been married before and I was afraid I might not be able to have the marriage annulled and marry my boyfriend, so I just avoided it altogether and went to and married in the Anglican Church.

I had an ectopic pregnancy 2 years later and nearly died. It was enough to make me face the truth and take the leap. My 'husband' and I lived as brother and sister for 15 months while we waited to hear if we could marry. We put everything on the line. It was scary. But I'll tell you, it feels pretty amazing to be able to offer up the most valuable thing you have to God.
