To be fair, that is pretty much exactly what I did (worked from the platform of being unnecessarily divisive). And well, let's say the "powers-that-be" did not approve of the message.

Well if you go back and look again at what you're responding to here, doing that wouldn't be unnecessarily divisive. Perhaps some concrete examples would help?

Maybe. Realistically though, this has never been my experience with Christianity.

Again, if you go back to my last post to put this reply in context you'll see I'm here saying this IS possible! And you bet I have to look long and hard to find that sort of thing. In all fairness, when you found whatever it is you found instead, you would pretty much have to figure that's all Christianity has to offer, wouldn't you? Until somebody comes along to declare otherwise, help you see the difference, and ideally, put you in physical contact with it. that last part doesn't work so well online :o

I second that too! Fighting hate will advance us none except to generate more hatred, instead we should look toward accepting love and let hatred affect us as much as water on a duck's back.
