That is something that others here have found interesting as well, how Christians who are often the most theologically sophisticated are so trollish in their everyday behavior toward others.You just can't go a whole post without calling someone names, can you? Why do you think that is?
There is an old saying among Jewish sages that the best predictor of whether a man will refrain from sinning is not wisdom and knowledge of the Lord, but fear of the Lord. It is not enough to have perfect knowledge of who God is, and what is right and what is wrong, but believing there will be consequences to our bad behaviors that keep people walking the straight and narrow and treating people with respect that we all ought to be treating them with.
I know the question was not addressed to me, but it is an interesting question, and there is my two cents on the topic.
