Okay, here's the scoop. I <3 AFI, by the way. Davey Havok, the lead singer, was raised Catholic, went to Catholic school, etc. So spirituality does appear in his lyrics sometimes. Silver and Cold is an example of this, I think.

I don't think they were ever a Christian band. These days they're just another skater band pretending to be oh-so-goth, like My Chemical Romance and the rest of the Hot Topic groups.

I REALY loved the song miss murder, but I made myself quit listening to it cuz it is so anti God, & when you hear that all the time, you start turning against God....I'm trying not to listen to them anymore. Its one thing to be bitter at God, Its another thing to write a song about it, & publish it everywhere. When you listen to it, you start singing it.....
