So what is the latest news with Trump? If you don't mind me asking. Otherwise I can search for it myself.
Thanks
Was not advocating not voting. Just the difficulties facing Christians in this election.I REFUSE to NOT vote. The ONLY way I would not vote is if for some reason I was deemed unfit to do so mentally.
It is apparently now in news and current events. That is why I posted it here instead of new & current events......
It apparently was an interview Trump had with Billy Bush. Whether this hot microphone is before or after the actual recorded interview I don't know.
It's telling about the Network that kept the audio, that body of persons that chose to keep the microphone on and record the conversations without Trump's knowledge. And what is seemingly missed is that if Trump is said to need to depart the campaign trail for his remarks, then Billy Bush, who hosts a Hollywood TV show with women, should resign his job instead of apologizing as he's doing now. As is Trump.
Because Bush can be heard yucking it up as Trump talks. And even add's his own remarks to Trump's narrative as he goads him on.
Something I think we Christians need to remember is this is a secret audio recording that was sneakily recorded by a Network and its employees. That's dishonest. And it is 11 years old!
When Donald Trump came to Christ all of his past sins were put under the blood of Jesus. And God remembers his sins no more. Being this is an 11 year old audio, we have to consider when Trump came to Christ , which was not that long ago from what I've found so far. (Article) And realize that that Donald on the tape is not the born again Donald running for office today.
This is a Clinton move! Dirty politics. What was she and her husband doing 11 years ago?
She's a self-professed Christian. Do her actions demonstrate that? Especially in the case of the illegal server and 33,000 emails she had destroyed by her attorneys.
Where's the Christian charity for one of our own in both camps really. But with Trump, all the dirt on him is old. All the dirt on Hillary is recent. Trump is what they call a baby Christian. Hillary's not.
Choose wisely my friends as to whom you'll cast the first stone toward.
Nah. JFK was an adulterous, fornicating fellow from his youth. But I don't think he joked about being able to randomly grope women, I certainly don't think he would randomly grope women.JFK undoubtedly spewed similar nonsense
One of the downsides to early voting; something bad is discovered of a candidate and they get indicted or step down, maybe become so ill they can't serve.....then those early votes get wasted.......I think since some have already voted through early voting, it wouldn't be right to change the candidates. How would a vote already cast for Trump be then counted?
So, after the latest revelation is it time for Donald to bow out? Why or why not? Please let's be adults about this; no polemics which is the reason I posted this here instead of News and Curent Events. Just state your reason for or against based on what you feel fairly certain to be true.
That is not where it started out; I wanted only Christians to respond......It is apparently now in news and current events.
It's not about casting stones; it's about picking the next President of the United States. If his response to this had been along the lines of "I used to be a boorish mysoginistic jerk, but I repent of my sinful view towards women, and I ask for the forgiveness of the American people for my exceedingly crass remarks", I'd entertain the position you propose, and I might even consider voting for him. But, his actual response was more akin to "I was wrong, and I apologize if I offended anyone, but Bill Clinton is worse!" It's not what he said 11 years ago that's most troubling. It's what he said yesterday: minimizing his appalling behavior, grandstanding, and acting like a victim when he was clearly in the wrong.
There is a 0% chance that Billy Bush will be the next President, so I am not as concerned with his behavior. But, I agree, in a decently moral society, he would not be on TV. But, we don't live in a decently moral society. If we did, we would not be facing the inevitability of either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, who both are morally unqualified for the presidency, being the next President.
ETA: I don't know the truth about where Donald stands with Jesus. I do know that both major party candidates claim to be believers. I know that Jesus said we would know them by their fruit. And, I know that bith candidates seem to be producing rotton fruit.

Well, that's the beauty of this exclusive forum section. That's all that will respond in this thread. That is not where it started out; I wanted only Christians to respond......
No, you missed that Trump said he is no longer the man today that he was then. BIG difference. Well thought out response. Especially the part about things not changing much. For me that means the globalist agenda progresses with either candidate. Hillary totally conscious to the agenda and Trump led by the nose. He will find out quickly if elected he can't fire the globalist shadow government of autocrats even though he preaches American sovereignty.Hmmm, why not to vote for Trump (AND no, I do not endorse Hillary, she's a weak candidate).
1. He's sort of an oaf.
2. He's consistently degrading to women
3. Racist
4. Greedy and selfish, willing to exploit business partners for his own gain.
5. Liar.
6. His appearance in several Playboy videos (I guess this may be the least of his poor decisions....).
To make it clear, I really do not like Hillary.
But, I think there's a political machine in place that ensures not too much change will take place, so no matter who gets elected, nothing much will happen. There is no "doomsday scenario" with either candidate.
I think Trump's only good quality that I can think of, is that he will try to get things accomplished. The problem is these things may be very misguided.
If Hillary is elected, I predict status quo. Nothing good will happen, nothing bad will happen. The economy will remain mildly stagnant, and unemployment will continue to rise at a slow rate.
BUT, the real question is this (in my opinion):
WHY Can't a country of 320 Million people find a decent, intelligent, honest, caring human being to be president.
Our political system is diseased .... (in my opinion).
Uncle Joe does have some certain qualities. But alas he has bought into the culture of death as well.I would have even went with the democrat Joe Biden rather than Trump. But my goodness.... Clinton or Trump... Yikes!
I still like our Republic of states rights. Without it, on paper, we avoid the central government from absolute power. Why shouldn't a country have more than one person to vote for? We should have top three in either party. Popular vote makes the call. Give the power back to the people to actually vote and help put someone in office. Maybe then we'll start to get more involved in politics and take our country back. Make government really work for us. Rather than expand itself so as to make us the one's that not only work for, but in some areas of America, fear.
At this point all the dirty "breaking news" about either camp is more like a mud wrestling contest. They're both filthy dirty. But it's a matter of who's mud is deeper, older, and has been slung the furthest. And to whom did it attach?
That's why I think it is a matter of discretion as to which dirty player, Donald or Hillary, played in such a way as to endanger America with their behavior?
Trump has earned a long list of adjectives attached to his business legacy. But Hillary has those that extend throughout a long political history. And she was entrusted as Secretary of State when she committed some of the worst offenses.
All of which jeopardized America. Or, cost American lives.
In short, which one entrusted to protect America as a matter of their job failed?
And in a resume situation with the common public that we are to the rich and famous, would any one of us be promoted to a job that was higher paying with a higher degree of responsibility, if we failed in our current position?
Then why would we the common public that Hillary supposedly said she has a hard time relating to, my paraphrase not her exact words, vote Hillary to the office of President? When she failed as Secretary of State, and resigned in disgrace.
Her campaign and Obama keep saying she's highly qualified, the highest qualified, for the job. How's she qualified for President when she's unsophisticated and naive and not even qualified to be trusted with highly classified emails?
A most valid point.I think since some have already voted through early voting, it wouldn't be right to change the candidates. How would a vote already cast for Trump be then counted?
