Actually we don't have that freedom. If you refuse to bake a homosexual cake with two grooms on it, you will be put in jail. If you are a wedding photographer and refuse to go to and take photos of a homosexual wedding, you will be fined out of business. At what point will you admit we no longer have religious freedom?
I disagree that refusing service, from a business standpoint, violates Christian freedom. If anything we SHOULD be serving others, leading by example in love performing our work as unto the Lord.
Even Christ ate/drank with and was accused of being a friend with sinners.
Simply doing your job is not a violation of Christian freedom.
And most of us here are following Christ. Be careful because it sounds like you are condemning others for fighting the political battles and making the assumption they don't also fight the spiritual battle.
My accusation, if there is one, is that many equate political battles as spiritual battles and can't tell the difference.

It was initially forced on the people by 5 unelected judges.
Just curious, are you simply quoting Ted Cruz or do you know the process in which judges are appointed?
Are you advocating a change?

main obstacle to states passing nullification bills (like the TSA bill), in recent times, have been governors (i.e. Rick Perry, who did not want to secede because he selfishly wanted to run for President to rule a larger country) and state senators who knew it would lead to a potential secession crisis and who, as politicians would rather not do something so risky and they often wanted federal jobs like to be a federal Congressman or Senator.
The Supremacy Clause, Article VI of the US Constitution, makes federal law the supreme law of the land effectively "nullifying" state nullification of federal law. This has been settled law as with the end of the Civil War. No federal court has ever upheld a state nullification measure.

Are you serious? So you should make confetti for the gay pride parades too, since that "serves" others? Or sell video cameras to pornographers? By that logic a black man couldn't refuse to bake a KKK themed cake.

Gary Johnson, the "Libertarian" candidate BTW said that just as Christians should be forced to bake homosexual cakes, Jews should be forced to bake Nazi cakes. That's how insane the USA has gotten that the LIBERTARIAN is saying that!
So much for "liberty"! I am ashamed I voted Libertarian in the past, this is the first time ever I'll vote for the GOP Presidential candidate.

Also I am not talking about refusing service. I am talking about the fact the government arrests or fines out of business, those who refuse to partake in a ceremony of the abomination. You do not have freedom of religion anymore.

A friend of mine who was a public teacher, got in trouble because when a child asked him a question about the Bible, he got his out and opened it up and showed him the verse. He didn't try to tell him what to believe or anything. Simply opened his Bible to help the child find the answer to his question (which is what school is supposed to do). And you cannot pray in school.

Actually several states are nullifying federal law right now as we speak. The marijuana laws in many states are nullification. And "sanctuary cities" are nullification of both state and federal laws. They get away with it because the federal government is not enforcing the laws (whereas if Texas refused to accept muslim refugees, Hillary would likely send agents and cause a standoff).

And the Supremacy clause only applies to CONSTITUTIONAL federal laws (the vast majority are unconstitutional) and Thomas Jefferson explained that any unconstitutional law can be nullified.

THAT SAID, the legality doesn't matter. It wasn't legal for America to nullify various British laws but it did. It wasn't legal for America to secede from Britain, but they did it. I'm not talking about what is legal or what we should do, I am merely explaining to you WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN.

By the way, the Constitution is dead. Didn't you notice? That's the whole reason things have gotten to this point.

Are you attempting ad hominem with your insinuation? Then you certainly aren't making a reasoned reply and should not reply at all. I give you facts and you try to insult me for it. Only the last two sentences were an opinion.

I think it is best we pray for the salvation of both Hillary and Trump (Regardless of the outcome of the election). They both need our prayers and our Christian love. While we see bad things happening to our country if one of them gets elected, we have to remember that we are to love in when an enemy hurts us (or if they may potentially plan on hurting us). For it is the Christian way to love our enemies.

And on a related note, we still are under orders to pray for Obama.

You are absolutely correct. It's really easy to spout off about how bad these politicians can be, but we must not ever ignore our most important Christian duty to love one another.

Thank you. I agree. While it is important to point out the sins of a leader so that good men of God do not endorse them so as to be in bed with them, it is just as equally important that we also pray, do good, and love our potential leaders.

Also, it is also even more important that we speak in love when we disagree with another person in regards to this issue, too (Even when others might speak hatefully towards us and if they accuse us falsely).

Trump has given a list of all the judges he'll consider for Supreme Court and a promise to only choose from those judges. I've read the list. It is full of amazing Constitutional conservatives in many cases more conservative than Scalia even!

Do not tell people to not vote for Trump. If Hillary wins, America is OVER. Done. The Right will not tolerate a criminal traitor taking office. Whether it's a civil war, military coup, or separation, America's existence will be brought to the edge of the abyss. States will HAVE NO CHOICE but to leave, because Hillary will give amnesty and fast-track citizenship for 20 million illegals. I've spoken with the governor, state senators, and many others. There are plans in place already though the public does not understand the purpose of which are for setting the stage. If she wins, I guarantee you, one of those three things (civil war, military coup, or best case of peaceful separation) will occur.
Can I see the list please? I haven't seen it.

And this has been the most disappointing of all. People who claim to be Christians are criticizing, calling names, insulting others who have opposing views. I'm so embarrassed and ashamed! I expect better. If we're called to love our neighbor, this is not the way. Why can't we just state our views without going into the gutter? I blame a lot of this on Donald Trump. He's inciting anger and hate at his rallies and it eerily resembles the rise of Hitler! I'm now starting to understand how that could possibly happen. How can you forgive Trump for the atrocities that have come right out of his mouth throughout the campaign but you cant forgive Bill Clinton for things that happened in his past or Hillary's sins? I think it's very un-Christian and for people to use their religion in their views just seems very wrong to me. "They will know we are Christians by our love," not our hate.

Glad you mentioned that. Perhaps it has something to do with a candidate calling another candidate's supporters baskets of deplorables.
