Is it that mankind should be destroyed when they have been corrupted to the utmost?

Luke 17:27-29

27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:

As the scripture, the world of nowadays almost should be destroyed like Sodom and Noah's days since the mankind just care about themselves and refuse to know God. Then what could we do for saving ourselves as Lord Jesus' wise bridesmaids? Pray for the dark and evil world?

Just keep filling up with the oil of the holy spirit and the Lord will preserve us from harm.
I dont think you can pray for those who dont want to repent. As God honors our free will and doesnt force anyone to believe, even though the gospel can be preached many times. Also, in the last days angels have the message of the gospel so even if we cant tell them in time the angels give each person a last chance of redemption.

Its sad but sometimes we can do nothing and just let God do the grafting in part. He knows peoples hearts.
