Is it possible to get our old messages back?

I've come back onto the forums after one of the admins kindly showed me how to log back in (I was having problems after the upgrade).

All seems to be working, but blimey it does look a lot different!

I was going to look at some of the recent messages I've posted, but there doesn't seem to be any history that I can trace. It is as if I am a brand new user?

looks like my posts were removed also, except for some that were discussions with admins about things.

Look under your profile under the latest activity and postings tab. They should be there. Click on show older items and see if Monday appears and earlier messages.

Regrettably, it said there are no more items to show.

Though some people can see their posts back to 2005, so perhaps some subforms got renamed or deleted or something. Who can say?

Yes, the data probably still exists somewhere.

I checked today, and noticed that gap between 2011 and the present was filled in. So this issue is fixed for me anyway. Thanks.

You probably found it, but just in case, you click on your username at top right and then in the drop down you click next on the mail/envelope icon. Then after it tells you you have no recent conversations, you click "show all" to see older ones.
