Well, some make it hard to be a good samaritan ...
My last attempt to be a good samaritan was to help a lady and her daugher with a flat tire.

To make the story short, I ended up giving her and her daughter a ride to their desination. She said she wanted to give me some money. 3 times I told her I wanted to do a good deed and not to give me money, but she dropped a 20 on my passenger seat as she left. grrrrrr

Some people need to learn to accept a gift given.

Sure it's possible to be a good samaratin. My question is this, as it happened to me a few months back. I was leaving my gym and when I got into my car a woman scared the hell outta me. She was bangin' on my window asking me for $$$$ so she could feed her kids. She said "my food stamps won't be here til next week". I saw she was clearly messed up on either drugs and/or booze. She was hanging out in front of a liquor store that is right by my gym. What should I have done? I told her I'd take her into the food store and buy her a sandwhich. She got all nasty on me and walked away...Oh well...
