You apparently assume that God is going to be torturing someone for eternity, although I am not sure that Scripture ever says that.Is it moral to torture someone for eternity because of finite crimes?
Isn’t denying it considered unorthodox by CF and most traditional Christians? You apparently assume that God is going to be torturing someone for eternity, although I am not sure that Scripture ever says that.
You said that hell isn't eternal, so what happens after finite torture according to your belief? After?? How can we say what happens after eternity? You did say in your initial post that you were talking about torture for eternity.
Which uncertainty is that? I said that I am not sure that Scripture anywhere says that GOD will personally torture people in hell for eternity. If I have overlooked some verse, please do bring it to my attention.I mistook your uncertainty, my bad.
Is it moral for a person to reap what they sow?Is it moral to torture someone for eternity because of finite crimes?
No.Is it moral to torture someone for eternity because of finite crimes?
Except dead is not the cessation of consciousness. Without Christ (even if you never commit a sin or crime) you will spend eternity in a blast furnace.
He is your only way out.
Feels like warrior mentality people all over world pretend that there is hell to find an excuse for themselves and others to aim for Magical Artifacts. And lack in belief is what dictates this destination, which does not even encompass morals, but is instead, amoral. Can someone choose what to believe?
Simple test: Make yourself believe China does not exist. If you can, you have true free will of your beliefs.
If someone does not belief, because they claim the presented evidence is lacking for them, does this warrant the conclusion of eternal condemnation (or an eternal 'blast furnace')?
According to Christianity, this is the axiomatic conclusion or dichotomy presented (i.e.) Mark 16:15-16
'15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.'
If this a reference to hell, it should be asked in Christian Apologetics forum: Christian Apologetics

I have no idea what Scripture says but I think oioimoi asks a valid question.
I find that Christians are a bit all over the place when it comes to hell, but the impression I have from this Forum, is that Eternal Damnation is the agreed standard.
If this is the case, then it would seem that the punishment significantly outweighs the crime.
