Yes, but, abstinence is necessary.united4Peace said:Too much of anything isnt good for anyone...
One needs to limit themselves to lives pleasures...
That is why there is help for addicts...
Food, booze, sex etc...
But now that does not mean that food, booze, or sex is bad for you if you limit them...
know what I mean??

Well, God does tell us that we need to focus on His kingdom and he'll give us everything else! (Psalms 37)threeinone said:You may be right. Do you have a quote from the bible? If you are correct, it gives me pause to wonder for probably the majority of the world lives in great sin. I looked(not greatly hard)and could find nothing. I think you really need some bible scripture to back up your statement.

Sorry I can't believe that we were given life so we could do nothing with it but stare at the sky. Unless something is harmful to myself or others, or clearly forbidden, I will assume that what God has given is good. So, before marriage, I see no problem in experiencing one's own body. Experiencing somebody else's body is the problem.

djbcrawford said:Yeah, we can find out how our body works, but how often do we need to keep checking it still works!!
Also remember, what is good for us today, will often be bad for us tomorrow. People once thought smoking was healthy.
As a bloke, the one bit I can't get round, no matter how much I want to, is where Jesus said just lusting after a woman was like committing adultery with her. Cause without the lust, it just doesn't happen for me.
cubanito said:Any error is sin, which etymologically defined means "to fall short of the mark."
touching yourself is a typo, thus an error, thus clearly a sin.
If the poster mean to type "masturbation" then, pardon the imagery, for a man at least it clearly falls short of the mark.
Laughter is not acceptable.
