I assume that Cap...was being sarcastic but drunkness is a sin anyway...but no i dont think God would be mad at you for taking an aspirin if you had went that way..however maybe dealing with a hangover would maybe be enough of a learning lesson for you to not want to drink til that point again.

My answer is-maybe. A hangover is correction for getting drunk, whoever hates god's correction is in sin. so a christian should suck it up and deal with the headache as a result of drinking, or repent, no medication

If asprin does anything for your hangovers, you don't really have a hangover. If you are drinking enough to have a real hangover, there is probably significant room in your Christian walk for improvement.

Most logical answer. I agree. Couldn't have said it better.

I really hope Cap is kidding. I do not believe it is a sin to take an asprin, however getting drunk is a sin. You are not supposed to punish yourself. You as human should admit your sin to Christ and ask for Forgiveness. Taking an asprin to help with a headache is not Gods punishment

If you shoot yourself, you should refuse medical treatment because bleeding to death is God's punishment for attempted suicide.

More seriously, eat a meal before you drink, get plenty of water while drinking, eat a good breakfast after you get up. This won't prevent all hangovers, but it should help. The jury is out over whether things like aspirin are good after a hangover, because the side effects can be magnified while you have alcohol in your system. That is a bad thing.

You could look at it this way. It's a physical response to drinking too much. Not everyone who consumes too much gets hangovers though, so I doubt this is a correction from God every time someone overindulges in the bottle. I'm sure both sides have good points with whether to take an aspirin or not in this case.
