Hi everyone. Just curious, is humor part of your marriage?

For me, my husband and I have grown to laugh at the same type of jokes and sometimes (depending how funny or weird something is), we can laugh hysterically until we have tears coming out of our eyes. It's nice to know that our marriage isn't always so serious.

We have lots of humor in our marriage. God is the Author of humor. We laugh at a lot of things. My humor is very dry, while my husband laughs at so many things more. He used to be a stand-up comedian in NYC. We laugh a lot in our home. Laughter is good medicine for life, marriage, family, relationships.

I am not really sure how a marriage would survive without humor involved. It'd be ever so boring and lifeless.

I totally agree!

...and yes, we basically act like we're 5 year olds half the time, and have fun doing so!:D

That's wonderful to hear a lot of couples in this forum have humor in their marriages! I'll be honest though, I was more serious than my hubby when we first met. His humorous nature actually got me to lighten up quite a bit. So I am lot less serious than when we first met. When I stop and think about all the growth changes we've been through in our marriage, we've come a long way. We still got a long way to go...:D but we're definitely not the same people we were when we first met each other.

Oh absolutely. My husband has the quirkiest sense of humor, he can find something funny in ANY circumstances. Sometimes I'm angry or upset about something and I talk to him, and he has me in stiches within a few minutes.

My wife tells me that I am the same way, I can usually make anyone at any given time laugh. usually it happens when I am being a little serious and it just comes out in a funny way!!!

My husband has the silliest sense of humor. I knew what I was dealing with early on when he told me his favorite movies of all time were "Airplane" and "Spaceballs". My sense of humor is very different from him. But when I see him giggling and snorting over a silly gag or joke, it makes me laugh now. I think his sense of humor is one of his more endearing qualities.
