Throughout time humanity has divided itself based on land disputes as well as disputes over which laws are fair, and which laws are not fair. Historically, the fairest systems of law have not only included collective distributions to the poor, but also rights for the poor in order that their cause should be heard, which is the sole basis for case law (common law).

The most unfair systems in history have been empires with imperial ambitions to rule and govern people as a whole, leaving little or no room for the cause of the poor to be heard and understood from their hardships. A democratic republic is defined as a conservative system, because the democracy is from the far right, while the republic is from the far left.
A constitutional system of law presides from the middle of these two extremes as being conservative, which is in the best interests of the democracy, and the republic. Because if democracy is not upheld by the republic then the government is to be defined as a fascism, and not as a democratic republic.

The declaration of independence in its second paragraph says that:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

And these words have had such a significant level of importance on human life that the declaration itself is never to be underestimated in terms of its value. Because, this is the sole basis for human equality, and without human equality, there will be no lawful premise for equal justice.

So according to the First Amendment, the human being is endowed with rights, and these rights have been defined as inalienable, meaning that a person is born with them, and they cannot be given away, and can be exercised at any time.
But what makes this different from being just a concept is due to the fact that we are all endowed with a conscience in order to understand morality, which is how we decide right from wrong.

And what is self-evident here, is that no amount of chemical reactions can ever become self-aware, which means that life is a conscious reality, and not just a physical one, which is self-explanatory.
The difference between being conscious, and having a conscience, is that the conscience is specifically for determining fact from fiction, the truth from a lie, and yes or no with. While being conscious means to be aware of your surroundings, yourself and to be breathing also, because, being conscious was initially from breath to begin with according to Genesis chapter 2.

And what all of this means is that we are all equal under the law according to our God given conscience, and not, according to one's appearance. And this is the international standard for equal rights according to article 1 from the United Nations Global Declaration of Human Rights and Equality.
The definition of what a natural person is under law, has been defined as being an individual who is endowed with the ability to reason from their conscience. So the proper legal definition of what a human is under law has been defined by the endowed conscience. Which means that without a conscience, you are not a human being, but only an animal or a thing.

An animal or thing has been legally defined as property under the law. But because slavery is unlawful, as it deprives people of their equality, it will mean that there is no legal obligation for anyone to regard them self or others as being from an animal, because an animal is without a conscience, and a conscience is required before the law in order to make a case.

The First Amendment of the Unites States in its second paragraph says that:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

That's the second paragraph from the Declaration of Independence, not the constitution. The first ammendment - of the constitution, is concerned with the 'establishment of religion'.

You haven't really convinced anyone you know enough about what you are discussing to prompt any reasonable replies (and neither did your thread on evolution).

This is a good post, and the left does want to take us toward a secret totalitarian rule through technology and social programs, etc, but, morality is relative, and maybe always will be, so long as anyone holds another belief, or alternative perspective, or point of view, etc, and it is also situational or circumstantial as well, etc, and animals have a conscience just like we do, and I can prove that by my very own animals, or animals that I have had, etc, and we may not (most of us) (or if not all of us, etc) be anything all that much any different from any of them right now, etc, which makes me question whether we really truly have real true consciousness or not as well, or whether that last part is all just not only also, just only having or possessing a certain perspective or point of view as well or also, etc, and in the end may be all only relative always maybe as well, etc...

Thank you for that. I was typing away and got side tracked. And your argument from evolution was based on denial and not evidence. If you have anything to support the theory please get back to me. But as it stands the only way a system can come into existence is by creativity. Because a system does not arise naturally from natural circumstances, and it is only the functionality of a system that is to be regarded as a natural process. So I would hate to burst your bubble but no amount of chemical reactions can become self-aware, which is self-explanatory. And because the origin of systems and biological instructions cannot come from any of the ten dimensions of reality, it will mean by way of demonstration that the origin of life was not natural, but supernatural, which is self-evident.

Some say consciousness begins with the cell, or starts to arise beginning with the individual cell on the cellular level...

But would you consider a cell to be just as conscious or self-aware, or "whatever", etc, as you are...?

Because if that answer is "no"; then consciousness only exists on many different levels and is relative (or unique to) both yours and anyone else's, (including God's, or a god's), own each individual unique individual perspective or point of view, etc, and is therefore always all relative to that always also, etc...

In or at or on each level, the "being", all too often cannot see or cannot know, or cannot ever see/know/understand beyond it's own environment that forms and/or shapes it's own each individual unique perspective and/or point of view, etc, which pretty much makes it all "relative", like I just said, etc...

It's one one thing to be conscious but it's another to have the instructions necessary to be conscious, which do not come naturally from any of the ten dimensions of reality, because a consciousness is required to create the instructions for a cell to exist from its DNA coding.
Mathematics is the one language which is universal, and because DNA is not just a number sequence, but a dynamic integrating instructional system that can replicate other RNA DNA sequences that enter the host.

Then the proteins within the cell transfers an inactive version of the viruses RNAm to engage the infection within the host and actively seeks and destroys the infection.
And then the RNAm converts back into useable materials for the cell to use, which is like an army defence force fighting from a fort where they actively plan their next attack.
And the instructions to carry out this procedure cannot arise naturally from any dimension, because their is intent at work within each and every living cell, and the cell is governed by its encoded instructions.
The origin of design instructions must be from an intelligence that exists outside of time, space and matter, because, spacetime cannot arrange matter into an instructional sequence over time.

From the philosophical point of view, there are eternal concepts, for example the concept of tree or the concept of table.

Then, there are physical realization of these concepts, like the trees you see in the forest or the table you have your computer on.

So, in the same way, equality is a concept. And this concept has some implementations like for example in democratic countries the equality before the law.

Here, you say they depend on means which are "covet". May be "covet" means are both covetous and covert.

But this can be happening also in democracy. And individual humans can have our ways of being both covert and covetous. We can be our own dictators, then, tyrannical to our own selves. And ones robbing others are ruining . . . not only robbing . . . their own selves . . . not discovering how to love. They miss out on so much.

What really can conserve us includes how we deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Jesus > Luke 9:23.

Yes, I find it is good to have some rights that are working. But humans can misuse their rights, and I have hurt my own self more than anyone has. Plus, how I have taken things has be my own problem; no one else can control how I react to things.

Unfortunately there is also a lot that is wrong and much that is over-simplified to the point it is in danger of being juvenile. As @Bradskii noted, that makes it difficult to deliver a reasonable reply. But, as I am part optimist and part fool, I shall make an attempt.

First, as @myst33 observes, equality can be both a concept and - in certain times and places - a reality, or almost so.

Secondly, let's just consider one of your thoughts at random:

It would be nice if you gave credit to the influence of the Magna Carta on attention to Rights. Arguably the War of Independence would never have occured if the citizens of the colonies had not believed their rights, as enshrined in the Magna Carta, were being constrained. Nor would the US Constitution's Fifth (?) Amendment, relating to due process of law, have the form it does without the Magna Carta.

So, I would not underestimate the importance of elements of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, but credit where credit is due - you need to consider the antecedents.

Thirdly, I suppose the claim of "juvenile" simplification deserves a clarification. Summing up the extensive complexities of political diversity in a two dimensional format, as you have done, is . . . . really two dimensional. :)
