Hillary boasts about having a more 'muscular' foreign policy than Obama.

Obama ruined Libya and nearly bombed Assad, would have given way to ISIS dominance in the region.

Hillary boasts about being even worse than that? Dreadful, she shouldn't come anywhere near office. She's called for a no-fly zone and would shoot down Russian planes. More interventionist idealism that can get us into a stupid dangerous conflict.

Hillary Clinton can't get arrested no matter how hard she tries. her only redeeming quality is that she is not the other major candidate. Consequently, I am searching for a presidential candidate to vote for.

Absolutely not. She is one of the most morally void and corrupt people walking the earth today.

She can't be trusted to speak the simple truth.

Hillary Clinton has the experience, policy expertise, and statesmanlike demeanor to be president. She has met with other heads of state and she will represent our country well. She is very intelligent and utterly professional. She is not thin skinned when it comes to criticism. She has eaten that stuff for breakfast since the 1990s.

I would have hoped for someone more progressive, but like they say, politics is the art of the possible. We need legislative majorities. In the meantime, the executive branch is in good hands.

These charges would have a touch more validity if they weren't coming from people fawning over Hillary Clinton a woman who makes things up as she goes and lies through her teeth on a continual basis. This is why so many of us think you guys are crazy and incapable of making a fair judgment.
That's the narrative, but when you actually fact check her statements it shows otherwise. I don't like her because she comes across as a model politician to me, but she does have plenty of experience.

Hillary is the ultimate politician--intensely ambitious, and not above resorting to underhanded methods to get what she wants. Lady Macbeth in a pantsuit. But I think she can learn from her mistakes. She's not a demagogue, and doesn't flagrantly exhibit the symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder as does her opponent.

But while recognizing her faults, I still cannot vote for an asinine, pathologically egomaniacal, know-nothing, would-be dictator. I'd rather have every resident of the states of Baja, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, and Tamualipas storm across the border than have such a degenerate as Donald Trump become President. ¡Bienvenidos amigos!

I can't vote for either one, for different reasons.

One is a serial narcissist and the other is an elitist, who I am convinced feels, she is entitled and the normal rules do not apply to her.

You misspelled Donald Trump, and I think you called him a woman.

the right choice to be POTUS.
Why or why not?

Please keep comment on topic, there is a Trump thread open also for comment about him.

Probably not. I think she was pretty much an establishment conservative Democrat who will by and large support the status quo. Maybe I'll be surprised and she'll actually attempt to help fix some of the major problems of government, but seeing as her campaign was financed by big business, she--like most candidates from both major parties--will likely have to keep the corporate oligarchs happy by not stepping on too many toes.

But she does have one thing going for her that the alternative doesn't. But since this isn't a Donald thread, I suppose mentioning that reason doesn't belong here.

So do you think Hillary testified truthfully to Congress and to the FBI?

If you mean was she fully forthright, no. If you mean did she lie knowingly, she appeared to in public comments, but none of us know what she told the FBI, or what their questions were and their investigation was extremely narrow. With congress, I can't recall what she said or didn't say.

I think it would be silly of me to assume she has been totally and completely trustworthy in everything; but she's certainly been more truthful in many cases than many others as one can see from seeing her record on politifact. I'm not interested in being part of the anti-Hillary witch hunt that's been going on, a witch hunt that has largely come up with nothing particularly damning in spite of the enormous amount of money spent.

The reality is that I don't trust her. But that's largely because I think she's just another basically establishment politician whose interests lay more with Wall Street than Main Street. I could be wrong, and if she wins, I certainly hope I'm wrong in that regard.

I honestly don't want to vote for either major party candidate, for different reasons. That's been true in the past as well, but this year more so than others.

She couldn't even rally half of the delegates who were forced to vote for her. Her rallies are poorly attended and she gives no press access to her without a vetting process that would make Donald Trump happy.

How is she going to win the office when she isn't winning her own people.

I have to agree with you on the press conference charge. Her opponent puts himself out there day after day, whether you agree with his statements or not; Hillary simply hides behind press releases or controled one on one interviews. Does not speak well for dealing with real life face to face meetings with leaders. You have to wonder what she is afraid of.......
