  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Stuff that couldn't make it due to size restriction:

The true vision of the grave seems more in-line with the characteristics of an ever-loving God. After all, how can a God who is all loving, kind and merciful be simultaneously vindictive, hateful and torturing all the wicked souls of hell for all eternity? That is not a realistic reality of our loving and kind God, and it's sad that many believers have that idea. They were mislead and the traditional belief was carried down for centuries. Maybe that will be turning on it's head in future generations. We can only hope.

I didn't use solely these sources, some of my post is my original logic too. I think that's all I have to say about that.

According to your understanding, is there a wide space in between the Heaven and the Hell? Or they have a very sharp and well defined boundary?

Rev 14:10 says that in the lake of fire "Fire and brimstone" the wicked are "tormented in the presence" of the Lamb and of His holy angels.

In Rev 20 that event takes place on the earth.

In Matt 10:28 fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
