Hi. I've posted this in the Non-Denominational forum, and I feel that I should post this here.
Iehovah (pronounced Je-ho-va) may be God's name. He chose His name, of course. So there isn't any "He had a mother and she named Him". That stuff is stupid and isn't true. He named himself.
They have found some Hebrew that represents His name.
Also, Jesus's name translated means Joshua. Joshua translated means Praise Iehovah, or something along those lines that mention the name, Iehovah.
Bible commitees tell you that they didn't list His name because they don't know if that is His name, and they don't want to insult Him. Who does, anyway?
But, in the King James Version Bible, it tells you that Iehovah is in the Bible. It even gives Scriptures. In the verses, it's replaced as LORD or God.
God does have a name, because he said "This shall be my name forever". People, as admitted by Bible commitees, are afriad to use His divine name.
But we musn't! He won't present us, reveal to us His chosen name if He doesn't want us to know it! Don't be afraid to use His name!
Iehovah must be the name God chosen to represent God. To replace God, so that when people say God, He won't be just another "god". A false one. He will be mixed with those false "gods". He, and we, don't want that!
Iehovah is the name of God. As we know, God is 3 seprate persons. So when I say God, I mean the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All 3 of them together. Their name is Iehovah. When seprate, the Father is the Father, the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit, and also the Son is Jesus. Together, their name is Iehovah.
May Iehovah bless us all. May He shine his forgivness, love, and glory on us all, my Christian brothers and Sisters.
May Iehovah, the true God, be your Sheperd.
Let us end in prayer. You can say along with me this prayer, or you can say one of your own.
Dear Iehovah. I love you, and help me to serve you. As we learn more about you, show us your mercy, your grace. Reveal yourself to us. Reveal the truth and the false to us, so we may know which way to go.
We want to serve you. You are an awesome God, you love us, made of dirt. You love us, sinners. We are sinners in your eyes, we were made of dirt, and we are dirt in your eyes. We don't deserve your glance. Your grace.
But you shine it on us anyway. We love you, protect us from Satan and temptation. May your name be held Holy.
In Christ's name. Amen.
