Is God really calling me back?

On nov 2014 i believe i lost my salvation (due to porno addiction) i went to various churches/ministers to be prayed over but to no avail.

1. I was mentally ,physically and spiritually in bankruptcy.
   1.5 years later i recovered to an extent the first two areas, not so with the most important.
   I no longer read/meditate on the bible, pray or share the gospel; i go to church on sundays though but feel the same afterwards.
   
   Two days ago while listening to christian music on tv i got this tune from another song from Eden's Bridge (which i was not thinking about.) it turns out the title of the song was "Praise the Lord High above", i took it as from God, that day i didnt have a praise session but the next day i did ( i felt like in God's throne and loved God's perfection) but today i feel the same or worse because of evil attack, dont feel more inclined to God or christian stuff than before the praise session.
   Was it really God?
   Also i received a dark evil attack to my heart some time before the session.

Christ is a person, however we do not experience Him as we would a close loved one whom we meet face to face. We experience Him more in direct apprehension. So be among the body of Christ, stand in worship, direct your thoughts towards His nature, think on things that are lovely, things that are pure and of virtue, and things of praise, read His words to mankind and study and pursue their meaning.

Two things.. one, it isn't likely you lost your salvation. It is more likely you slipped down a bad path and hopefully learn and grow from the mistake. God doesn't expect perfection JJ, He just expects us to learn and grow when we do mess up. The second thing is if God wasn't calling you, pricking your heart... you would simply not care one way or the other. God wouldn't be a question, period. But when He draws a man (John 6:44) then you will begin to have these feelings. You can't have them if He isn't reaching out to you... so reach back.

Your porn addiction would not have caused you to lose your salvation. Cry out to our Father and confess your sins. He's already forgiven them! Please don't count on your feelings. God is with you always whether you feel him or not. Pray and remain close to him.

Instead of concentrating on your feelings, concentrate on what God's Word says, daily and prayerfully.

As other replies have said, your porn addiction would not cause you to lose your salvation. What it could cause you to lose is your closeness to God and any awareness of His presence. You said you were mentally, spiritually and physically bankrupt. that sounds about right. I have had my own battles with sin in the past and have experienced that feeling.

Had you truly repented of your sin? Have you asked Jesus to be your advocate before the Father (1 John 2:1)? He paid the price for our sin and intercedes on our behalf. So many churches over the last 10-20 years have taught that it is all about the Father and grace that they have virtually removed Jesus. Pray and ask Jesus to forgive you and to ask God the Father to forgive you and to renew you in the Holy Spirit. Start trying to read your Bible and ask for help from Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Sounds like everyone here gave adequate information. Nobody here knows for sure whether you are a man born of God except you and God. If we do assume you really have been born again, then it would be safe for us to say you cannot lose your salvation. Spiritual warfare is another topic entirely, and if you do not wish to feel attacked and what not then I would suggest you just go to the lord truthfully in prayer and tell Him you want to repent. And when you get done praying, try to walk in that repentance. The only real failure will be when you give up.

When we walk blamelessly then we are walking in fellowship of God. When we sin, it's like getting up and walking out of the church building to go fellowship worldly things. This breaks the heart of God. He wants the best for you and this is why He desires our obedience, because He is the truth and we need to glorify the truth (Him). When we sin, it allows the devil to get into our business and makes us more and more lukewarm to the truth, rather than being fired up for God.

I believe if I continue then I will be getting into spiritual warfare, and unfortunately that isn't my expertise (though I wish I was an expert at it lol). All I can really do is quote James 4:7 which says, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Porn is associated with lust. Jesus preached against lust and adultery. One who seeks to be saved will sin less, not more.

Listening to a hymn might be uplifting, but reading the right scriptures may be more productive. If you pray to God about what scripture you should be reading, will you get an answer?

I have been reading Acts today. Philip went to a road near Gaza. The Holy Spirit directed Philip to go to the chariot of an Ethiopian government official. The Ethiopian was reading Isaiah and asked Philip who the scripture was referring to. Philip told him it was Jesus and told him the good news about Jesus. The Ethiopian wanted to be baptized. Philip baptized him. Philip continued on his journey preaching in various places along the way.

Brother God has never left you. You were sealed on the day you accepted Christ. Even the man who was involved with sin that even the unbelievers did not do was still saved. (Sleeping with his father's wife). 1 Corinthians 5:5 (KJV) 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Unlike this person when Paul wrote this, you are seeking deliverance and are trying. I suspect you try too much in the flesh and are having a difficult time trusting and resting in God's grace. It may not come instantly but you can lose the condemnation vicious cycle that you are in. That you are even trying is a sure sign that you have not given up and certainly God has not.
You are the lost sheep and God is going to pursue you and help you get free from the things that are hindering you. Luke 15:4 (KJV) 4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

Keep seeking after God, and He will reveal His word to you in revelations that will destroy the lies of the devil. The gospel is good news and you will get a fresh encounter. May God also send some people in your path that can assist you, perhaps with counseling or God's word and love that will lighten your burdens. The noteworthy thing I see in this, JJ, is there is no reference to receiving the Lord Jesus into your heart as Savior and Lord of your life (note 1 Jn. 5: 10-12), so it doesn't sound like you "...lost my salvation" as you thought. Going to church and trying to talk to God is not what God says we need. Did you ever have it, according to the Bible (John 1; John 3; John 14; Romans 3; etc.)? Deciding to try and follow the Bible and talk to God is not salvation, friend. One needs that new birth relationship. Please read the verses shown here and read the New Testament daily 'til you understand God's ways for man. I will pray for you. Keep looking up!

Maybe, maybe not.
In another thread-post you referred to "soaking prayer", something that often was associated with things not of God in various/many?/ meetings. That is something serious to seek God fervently concerning,
and ask Him directly for wisdom in all things, which He may grant freely and without making you feel bad about this.

Agreed with those that say you have not lost your salvation. Any sin can be forgiven. Find something to fill the gap with the time you spend on porn and turn away from it. As a man, I stumble across all kinds of images while online. My first instinct is to notice, but I intentionally click away from that screen.

Absolutely God could be calling you back (Luke 15). He loves and forgives us that much. Keep praying and meditating on scripture and I will pray for you, too!

This is truly the fundamental issue here, I am sure. One must not just assume all is well in a relationship with God because they believe about Him. The ONLY truth is in what God says, and that is quite clear in the verses quoted above about God's beloved Son. It speaks of the relationship we MUST have with Jesus, the Christ of God, to have any part in God-the Father. Salvation is IN the Lord Jesus, as we can see in the Epistle --1 Jn. 5:10-12 and at John 14. The question for you, JJ, is have you received the Lord Jesus as your Savior and Lord of your life. I did not read that anywhere herein. I will pray for you, so don't just listen to religious ideas, but read the Gospel truth in your Bible.
