Not at all. The original comment was a proposition, not a conclusion; but you took it as an assertion, as a statement of fact.It appears to be saying exactly that.
Yes God can do ALL thing. In Short, He RAISED JESUS TO LIFE, to be seated in HIS Kingdom. Defeating Death. Need I say more. In your words, GOD is Omnipotent. Have a nice day, GOD BlessNew thread, trying to pinpoint my question.
Free Will My good friendNot at all. The original comment was a proposition, not a conclusion; but you took it as an assertion, as a statement of fact.
But let's put that aside and I'll ask this--
What makes you, as one who believes God to be able to all do things, feel that He would NOT have exercised that ability to keep his topnotch and special creation from ruining everything by sinning in Eden and suffering the consequences?
Free-Will, My good friend...It appears to be saying exactly that.
Your right, MY Bad... "Statement Of Fact". I just got excited reading your thread and I could be a-bit-of -a -dumbass, But if you don't mind, may I ask you a question pertaining to your question? What if this so-called consequence is not finished. If one day He returns to wrap all this up, and he gather those in accordance to Fait while being in His Grace, Then wouldn't the consequence then be complete as well with the completion of Free-will?Free Will My good friend

Repent? In the original creation of Adam and Eve, they had nothing to repent of.Because He desires all men to repent and be saved and yet He has not caused this to become so.
A good example of something real that God doesn't need to control, because He designed it to begin with --New thread, trying to pinpoint my question.
Buttefly effect?
The butterfly effect is part of chaos theory. The chaos part is we can't do the math. You mean like the boat is put in God's preordained canal. For the captain it feels like he has free will. He turns left when he wishes and turns right when he wishes, but he is all the time following the canal and cannot turn another way. The end of the boat at the end of the canal was predestined and preordained even before the boat was put in the canal or even existed.
Is this the Calvinistic notion?
The butterfly effect is part of chaos theory. The chaos part is we can't do the math.
Steven Hawking: "He cites Laplace’s often-quoted claim that if we knew the position and velocity of every object in the universe, we could predict the whole of future events. He then correctly observes that if Newton’s picture is right and complete, free will is necessarily an illusion."
Newton "free will is an illusion in a determined universe" is often attributed to Calvin but Hawking correctly states it is part of Newtonian physics.Interesting! What we have to remem ber is that God is not a God of chaos, but of order.
For whom He did foreknow He also did predestinate. Is inescapable.Ah, then I used it correctly. I don't believe God forordains everything.
For whom He did foreknow He also did predestinate. Is inescapable.
Rom.8
- [29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
- [30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
As is the bulk of Scripture. However, that can only be understood correctly and in context when taught directly by God per Scripture. When that happens, no one will have any doubts as to the meaning of The Spiritual Word. It has been happening this way since Christ made The Way. He hasn’t stopped teaching me since His appearance in my life over 30 years ago. That happened years after I had thought I was born again. There is never a place for contention in The Word. Of course, that won’t stop contention.Agree, but exacly how these verses are to be understood is intensely debated.
It's no wonder. The context of the words could just mean "set the boundaries before" minus the neo-platonic philosophy.Agree, but exacly how these verses are to be understood is intensely debated.

John.6
[45] It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me
