Not from my understanding.

"He is the invisible Spirit, of whom it is not right to think of him as a god, or something similar. For he is more than a god, since there is nothing above him, for no one lords it over him. For he does not exist in something inferior to him, since everything exists in him. For it is he who establishes himself. He is eternal, since he does not need anything. For he is total perfection. He did not lack anything, that he might be completed by it; rather he is always completely perfect in light. He is illimitable, since there is no one prior to him to set limits to him. He is unsearchable, since there exists no one prior to him to examine him. He is immeasurable, since there was no one prior to him to measure him. He is invisible, since no one saw him. He is eternal, since he exists eternally. He is ineffable, since no one was able to comprehend him to speak about him. He is unnameable, since there is no one prior to him to give him a name.....-Secret John

Well, it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18). I checked, and one would be hard-pressed to apply any other meaning here to the word αδυνατον than a literal translation of "impossible."

There is nothing that prevents God from keeping you alive since He would owe you nothing. There is nothing that prevents God from blessing you with air to breathe and water to drink. Along with living in an era when you are more blessed than most who have ever existed. With your computers, cars, the abundance of food to eat from all over the world. Along with your free ability to take it all for granted.

In my opinion, sinning.

He is prevented from sinning because he is the ultimate Judge of what sin is. We don't get to make the rules because EVERYTHING is His. Including us.

In addition, He is also prevented from knowing what it's like to feel the tormented guilt of sin.

He is prevented from ceasing to exist. Because He is the foundation of existence.

He is prevented from explaining to us what it's like to have always existed because we have a beginning and He doesn't.

Ok, I'm done.

What is sinning then? for God in particular.

God is constrained, but it is not an outward constraint where something is more powerful than God and is acting to prevent God from taking certain actions, but rather it is an inward constraint in accordance with His character. For example, God is righteous, so He can't do what is unrighteous. He is holy, so He can't do what is unholy. He is good, so He can't do what is evil. God is also logical, so He can't do what is illogical, such making a square circle.

Yes, unbelief will restrain God. It is not God's will that any should perish. However, not everyone believes and is saved.

Mathew 13:58 "Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief."

Sorry...to answer the OP...

In order for God to be restrained one has to show who is doing the restraining, and that would have to be one more powerful than God. So no, God is not bound by anyone or anything.

A previous post has suggested that God has characteristics that constrain him.

Seeing as God is sovereign, any constraints would be self-imposed, which aren't really constraints at all. At least, that's my understanding.
