No, you're really not understanding. This isn't a scab at all. This is just some inane internet conversation I'm in because you responded to a tounge-in-cheek comment about YEC (and a related parenthtical). The closest thing to a pre-existing trauma would be recalling the earlier discussion about the definitions of "theory". Ugh.

You see, I came out of the same Church so I know of what I speak, the only difference is, I sought God when I lost what I was told was the only Church to belong to, and guess what He revealed Himself to me and showed me where I was Lied to, so I'm not just some Protestant defaming the Church you belonged to, I came out of it and survived, you were dead in your Church and when you left, your faith was in the Organization not God, so you sit now where you are, that does not mean God has given up on you, it only proves you never knew Him to begin with.

Here's a friendly hint. The one thing anyone can be certain of is their own thoughts. Therefore, it isn't very polite to tell other people what they think. I do not care one bit what you think I think about anything. And I don't give a whit about your god, theology, or preaching. This is the science board.

Did we transform into what we are today? Or were we created as such without having to transform.

Is evolution real?

It's called a THEORY ... and nothing wrong with theories

a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained.

The "big bang" theory had to occur in order for things to "evolve" ... that is .... a planet and system that could support life ... or allow life to "begin" and all the billions of random occurrences over billions of years had to "evolve".

Science and people of faith agree ... whatever happened out in the cosmos allowed life to exist on planet earth.

How much does science know about the cosmos? Not much compared to the vastness of it. Science says approximately 4% is observable. How much of this 4% is testable and repeatable?

Science says it is not correct to make this statement? That is all the observation, testing etc. that is done on this earth and/or in relation to it and that 4% ... is enough ... or sufficient "evidence" to apply universally (regarding everything "evolved") and to allow life on planet earth to begin.

The one real fact is .... there is NOT indisputable evidence regarding the origin of life ... whether from a scientific standpoint ... or from the God standpoint.

and that's what we do ... dispute the matters...

This is what we do .... not one person knows everything ... not everything that is known can be known by any one person.
