Basically pulling an Obama (Thanks Calminian!)
This is amazing. Even when you quote commentaries you pick one that doesn't say what you claim. Where do K&D say these were the first animals who died?according to your unsubtantiated opinion, the following backs me:
(keil & delitzsch)God also displayed His mercy by clothing the two with coats of skin, i.e.,upon (2 Cor 5:4), nor the coats of skins the robe of righteousness
the skins of beasts. The words, God made coats, are not to be
interpreted with such bare literality, as that God sewed the coats with His
own fingers; they merely affirm that mans first clothing was the work of
God, who gave the necessary directions and ability (Delitzsch). By this
clothing, God imparted to the feeling of shame the visible sign of an
awakened conscience, and to the consequent necessity for a covering to
the bodily nakedness, the higher work of a suitable discipline for the sinner.
By selecting the skins of beasts for the clothing of the first men, and
therefore causing the death or slaughter of beasts for that purpose, He
showed them how they might use the sovereignty they possessed over the
animals for their own good, and even sacrifice animal life for the
preservation of human; so that this act of God laid the foundation for the
sacrifices, even if the first clothing did not prefigure our ultimate clothing
I see that Delitzsch contradicts your idea that when the bible says 'God made' it has to mean made directly and there cannot have been any process involved:
The words, God made coats, are not to be
interpreted with such bare literality, as that God sewed the coats with His
own fingers; they merely affirm that mans first clothing was the work of
God, who gave the necessary directions and ability

Sure, Gen 3:21 And the LORD God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them. It doesn't say these were the first animals who died.please provide proof for your position instead of empty words.
Again a vague reference to a whole letter doesn't really cut it as an argument. You need to say what passage you think it contradicts and tell us why it does.sorry that denies what paul said in Romans.
You asked asked why there would be a curse if the story is allegorical.
Archie: why is there a curse?
what is its purpose if the story is allegorical or whatever?
do you magically transform the curse back into a literal event?
if so what is the cause that would make God do that since adam and eve are allegorical?
I replied with a quote from Romans explaining how an allegorical Adam and Eve could describe a real curse.
Assyrian: Because Adam and Eve are allegories of mankind, who all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
So how is an explanation from Romans 3:23 supposed to deny what Paul said in Romans?
Nice answer, but it doesn't explain why you think mankind is still under a curse.your the ones who say that God takes millions and thousands of years to do something, why are you taking that literally now? sorry when you get consistent let me know. Why do you think mankind is still under a curse because of Adam and Eve when God said, Deut 5:9I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me. Shouldn't time be up by now?
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.please cite chapter and verse. there is no 'if' about it. please scripturally provide proof for your 'if'.when the bible tells us the snake was really Satan? If it was Satan who deceived mankind, do you think God punished innocent reptiles?
Rev 20:2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
1John 3:8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
And of course there is that verse you say you don't understand:
Gen 3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.
When you understand who the seed is your will understand who the snake was whose head he bruised.
You have shown you do not understand the allegory and metaphor in the bible, so it is fairly odd for you to be accusing us of not knowing God or the bible.ha ha ha. the same old thing, attack the poster. it is all ignored as you do not know God or the Bible. This is the problem Archie, you don't understand the metaphor and allegory in the bible, you forget that Revelation is literal and don't even understand what the seed bruising the serpent's head means
