Reality is not determined by belief based so called science and how it wants to overrule God.
What value is there in inventing millions of years to try and determine how one translates a word in the bible to try and compromise with manscience?
The verse did not come from looking at the sky.You get that from looking at the sky?
19 For what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For ever since the creation of the world...
God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power
and divine nature, have been clearly seen,
being understood from His workmanship,
so that men are without excuse.
That depends if you take observation to mean the religious imposition of a godless set of assumptions about the past and universe and origins or not. No observation of creation exists in case that is news, and no observation of the laws in the future or past exist.Scientific observation was built upon foundations laid down by Creationists.
Don't get the silly idea that observation is opposed to God.
The baby is not the evil fantasies and anti creator fables that so called science concocts.Just becasue some scientists are not believers, that has no bearing
on "Observations". Conclusions perhaps. Don't toss out the baby with the bathwater.
Jewish tradition says Abraham was a contemporary with Noah. We know about when Abraham lived. His tomb is in Israel. We know Methuselah also was a contemporary with Noah. We know who was the father of Methuselah. We know Adam was a contemporary of the guy also. Not rocket science. It is a matter of belief or unbelief. Not my goal in the least. Now. lets try and find that YEC in scripture, eh?
I was a YEC, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I was / am a fan of Henry Morris.
He is the one who taught me in his books, that scripture speaks plainly.
Even Adam was not created "Young".
The earth is not young either.
Since we know the world was made for man, and man was made the fifth day, and the other days of creation were clearly denoted as real days with mornings and evenings, you can't insert imaginary time on a whim for no reason.
The earth is young. It looks old. Adam was created a man, that is true. But if I looked at his teeth, and other body parts, I might know he was not old on the day he was created.
That depends if you take observation to mean the religious imposition of a godless set of assumptions about the past and universe and origins or not. No observation of creation exists in case that is news, and no observation of the laws in the future or past exist.
House built on a weak foundation will not stand.
Thanks.
I've gone into detail about what constitutes well
supported doctrine, and what is just mud.
Essential Doctrines of Christianity|Doctrines Essential to Christian Faith
The Foundational Doctrines Of The Christian Faith
The seven basic principles of Christ's doctrine
People seem to luv the mud. They wallow in it
all day long and build their faith around mud.
Interesting. What do you disagree with or think was left out? For my part, I would have bumped the last three up to "essential."I looked up the CARM link.
Well, I guess we differ considerably in what is and isn't essential.
OK, so let's look at that. The earth was created day 1. At the time the earth was without form, there was darkness on the face of the deep. But God made light. Then we see there was evening and morning that same day. So the formlessness was on day 1, part of a day!I'm not trying to. I just posed a,question. Genesis doesn't say how long the earth was without form and void and covered with water. It was just an interesting thought to,me. Not trying to make any doctrine out of it or anything. The bible is very silent on that. I am a staunch believer in the six say creation as written.

I see nothing in your sig that addresses whether the forces of nature today are supposed to be defined as the forces of God since creation week actually.I cover all that in my sig file so as not to repeat myself over and over about past events.
Adam walked beside God in the Garden.
I'm sure you know that no man can do this.
Adams body before the fall was similar to
Jesus after His resurrection.
OK, so? What does this have to do with what Adam's teeth would tell a modern expert who would have looked at them on creation day?
I see nothing in your sig that addresses whether the forces of nature today are supposed to be defined as the forces of God since creation week actually.
Yet he was man kind!Adam was not human whilst in the Garden. He was....but not a mortal human.
True. He had a resurrected new body as we will have. The kind like us who wear out. At that time, he was not what we call human
as he was not mortal. Just as an examination after the resurrection....there
was no valid explanations. Jesus seemed to be invisible at times.
Yes if Noah was a real guy, and Abraham, and Methuselah then we can connect the dots...no millions of years remotely possible. If Adam was made in creation week, then all we need to do is know bout when he lived. The young earth concept has no biblical support.
??The idea that scripture comes from God is among
the most poorly supported idea as well.
Do you realize Jesus was referring to Scripture when He said this??
Mr 7:13 - Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
