mine understanding is Apostle Paul talked about lifelong celibacy is a gift. Otherwise he encourage people to get married lest we are burning desires.
however, not everyone can find a partners for sort of reasons, I think in this case you just have to ask God for strength to live a life that is honorable to Him.
