Is Astral projection Satanic?

I have read several discussions about this subject and have not been given an answer that has been totally complete either way.
i would like biblical evidence or a logical conclusion either for or against it.

Sleep paralysis is a normal physical process. It occurs because your body is naturally paralysed when dreaming (for your safety, basically), but it can take a while for that paralysis to wear off if you wake suddenly.

As Radagast and Nightflight said, Sleep Paralysis is physiological. When you dream your mind may be very active and it would be harmful to act out your dreams while asleep. So the body causes temporary muscle atonia to prevent this, happens almost every time you have deep sleep. Sometimes you have a overlap between REM stage and wakefulness causing the atonia to persist. If you suffer from it repeatedly, you have a parasomnia or sleep disorder, but most people will experience it once or twice in their lives.

There is no evidence that Astral Projection occurs or exists that I am aware of, only of some individuals claiming an altered mental state.

Yes, those things are 'satanic'.
It's spiritualism, contacting the spirits within our fallen realm.
Apparently it's our pineal gland that serves as a projection screen.

The Bible is rather adamant about man dabbling with the unseen:
DON'T DO IT.

Some say it is, or at least it has to do with it.
I had it too, but not anymore since i found Christ.
All my spiritual doors have been shut by God.

Wrong, Astral Projection is the intentional act of having the spirit leave the body.

Nah guys, "sleep paralysis" is definitely demonic. I woke up one night and looked at an alarm clock and it read something evil, or like a number that was evil, couldn't move my body at all, felt an evil presence with me and looked at the end of my bed and saw a man in a cloaked garment, and I'm telling you I saw him just as I see anyone else... was no hallucination. and I felt his evil smile.
Don't believe me if you want, but it's definitely demonic, there's many people who report the same type of thing as me and/or the same feelings and it's not just a feeling associated with panic, it's dark.

It might be physical, but demons take full advantage of it, a lot.

As far as astral projection goes, I would say it's witchcraft. I believe it's possible and real, but deems witchcraft in my mind.

I used to practice lucid dreaming, however, and I believe that to be o.k. I think, I've had some really great lucid dreams. Some dark ones too, but some good ones.

I was never involved with astral projection myself, only lucid dreaming, and all lucid dreaming is controlling your dreams and learning how to wake up inside them. It is possible, I've done it many times, and I'm not sure if it's a sin or not. I don't do it anymore though.
