I don't think its sinful but it could be part of some kind of mental illness or mental health issues, such as Asperger's or autism.
I hate seeing autism described as a mental illness. I know it is in the DSM V so can be described that way but it is no more a mental illness than Down Syndrome.
I would guess that the only people who would consider your orientation in and of itself to be sinful are those who think that all LGBT+ people choose their orientations and gender identities. Is my lack of sexual interest immoral or wrong in the Christian faith?
Autism certainly can have many mental health problems assosciated with it. While I do not favor devaluing the personhood of autistic individuals, I was trying to imply that asexuality is not necessarily "healthy", even if I do not consider it sinful.

"Promoting" or "spreading" asexuality works just as well as promoting or spreading hetero or homosexuality.
ie: it doesn't work at all. Asexuality is not a communicable sexuality(wow, that'd be something though wouldn't it?)
While some humans experience a small amount of fluidity with their sexualities, not many can and the vast majority of human beings would be unable to go from being sexually attracted to other humans to being asexual even if they wanted to.
It'd be like throwing a pebble at a brick wall and expecting it to move.

...conservative religious people are the only ones who say that lustful thoughts are wrong.Anyway, being asexual is not wrong, but promoting and trying to spread it is.
