1 Chronicles 15:29
29 And as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came to the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.
It's interesting to note that David wasn't in the temple, the place of worship, when he was dancing.

Very good Andrea411. Now let's take it a step further for the little lady
Take a look at this, And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord. And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death - 2 Sam 6:21-23
The penalty for making fun of the joy of the Lord (which is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit) is punishment from the Lord. Michal was struck barren as a result of making fun of the Joy of the Lord. We must be careful to not reject what is of God, He cannot be put into a polite little box. The Lord is outrageous at times, and He is passionate. Those who reject His giftings and manifestations of the Holy Spirit are rejecting a very real part of His character. I can only imagine how much this hurts His feelings. I know how it hurts my feelings when I feel rejected and judged...
Yes... I feel bad for these ones who count the mysteries of God as "a strange thing" which is exactly what this scripture you quoted is referencing. His word is a fire
Hosea 8:12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
Robert Tilton! Loves money. Deceiver, wolf in sheeps clothing, demon straight from the pit.
I'm sorry you were deceived. I was never deceived by this man, knew it right away.... whole bunch of them out there.... but since when is a hard heart a fruit of the Spirit? And I would never be entertained by you or others who I thought were in deception, that is just plain sad..... I am not entertained by charismatic preachers who fall or are deceptive, evangelicals, Catholics or any other denomination or theological gathering - but I've prayed about it and the Lord gave me an answer that quiets my mind.... in the end it is just like Paul said. Whether for selfish ambition or greed, or any other reason 'I rejoice that Christ is being preached". Bc even if a preacher comes to them to steal their money - if they get the gospel... who cares if the thief got rich? How much more did the person receive when he learned of Christ. So these charlatans serve God's purpose too.Since I paid no small amount of dues in the charismatic arena, here is a picture of a guy that our little local assembly would beam into the church via closed satellite every once in awhile, and we, ALL of us that 'belonged,' just thought he was spot on RIGHT, hallelujah!
I love you - YouTube
And I look at that guy today and just shake my head.
What was I thinking?
Would any of you actually believe this clown? Would YOU trust your theology to the man above? Take every word he says as GOSPEL?
Hundreds of thousands did at the time.
And hundreds of thousands were DECEIVED.
Not just deceived. FLEECED of their money and their time.
Shorn like a flock of IGNORANT BLIND SHEEP.
Imagine that?
go figure...
Today and the many years since then (over 26 years ago) I have only one Gospel and it's called
GET REAL.
If you don't have a critical heart, you will pay with your WOOL.
and you will deserve to pay and you will even LIKE it.
I know people who never left that deception.
You couldn't convince them that the guy above is a lying wolf for all the reality in the world.
That's how deceiving deception can be.
They only have my sympathies for their own blessed IGNORANCE. And I have the pleasure of speaking the truth to their faces and not have them listen anyway.
It's quite entertaining. Quite.

And he would not know the True.I don't need McArthur who's a cessationist to tell me about it. He calls everything false fire. There also is true fire.
Paul said you shouldn't do that in church and that is what some do on the pulpit without translation, which is stupid. It's a prayer language for intercession you use at home or in a prayer group.the gift of tongues was given as a sign to unbelievers and was not gibberish it was actual language that was being spoken... what edification to anyone does speaking a language that can not be understood by unbelievers have? I genuinely want to understand how you and your fellow charismatics view non common language tongues as a benefit to the church?
