jubilaki said:but what do you do when you go to church in EVERY church you sing, if music is bad why would it be used in EVERY church all over the world
JesusWasn'tWhite said:ahem.
It's good to know that you've been to EVERY church in the world.
You must have a lot of differing beliefs, having so many experiences in different religious places of worship.
And so young, too!
lummoxcooties said:haha. Music is very evil. I know a little music theory and I have concluded that the F note is the most evil note of them all (it's the sixth note). If you join more than one note together in unison, forming a chord, you are igniting sin in your heart. And when you add sharps or go out of key, demons will devour your soul.
MoreInSorrow said:I've heard that if you hit the sixth string open, while holding the next two strings at the 6th fret, the paint on your walls will melt, and the water will turn to blood.
But that's just what I've heard.

I've had some people tell me that the Christian music they have heard was so terrible that it actually spurs them off to the Lord. How does that work then?
There is a lot of "bad" secular music (maybe with some swearing too) that is better quality than the typical "good" Christian music.
Am I saying that Christians need to stop making music?
No.
I'm saying that people, over all, need to make better music.
By "better" do I mean more JPM [Jesus per Minute]?
No.
Quality over quantity.
{Please excuse the probably unnatural placement of this post. It could very well fit within a plethera of threads here about "is secular music bad?" and all that jazz (jazz is okay, right?).}

Spoken word is the only way to praise God.
