yes i agree alot of people have witnessed to others. I for 1 had a guy at work say he was going to burn my church down so i made him suffer it out in the backseat of my car. Listening to Great Christian music. Eventually i just started playing it everyday!

haha. Music is very evil. I know a little music theory and I have concluded that the F note is the most evil note of them all (it's the sixth note). If you join more than one note together in unison, forming a chord, you are igniting sin in your heart. And when you add sharps or go out of key, demons will devour your soul.

I've heard that if you hit the sixth string open, while holding the next two strings at the 6th fret, the paint on your walls will melt, and the water will turn to blood.

They worshiped the Lord with drums and symballs. I believe if it is a Message music can be used to worship and minister to others. The notion that our souls will be devoured well this is just paranoia i think. Praise and worship is important and we have a praise team in our church we sing songs together and this is our togetherness worship! I am forever grateful to you a great song. I have not been devoured! Praise GOD

I've had some people tell me that the Christian music they have heard was so terrible that it actually spurs them off to the Lord. How does that work then?

There is a lot of "bad" secular music (maybe with some swearing too) that is better quality than the typical "good" Christian music.

Am I saying that Christians need to stop making music?
No.
I'm saying that people, over all, need to make better music.
By "better" do I mean more JPM [Jesus per Minute]?
No.
Quality over quantity.

Music lyrics are spoken Word, if they are quoted from the Scriptures!! Music is good-only LYRICS are either good or bad

2 Samuel 6:14-15:
"David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the Lord with all his might, while he and the entire house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets"

Psalm 95:1:
"Come let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation"

There are many examples in the Scriptures of music and singing-so the answer to the original question is NO! Music is not bad! It is always good if it is giving Glory to God
