Is 1 PETER 5:3 TRUE ?

One is that Peter was the apostle to the CIRCUMCISION in Gal 2: 7 and that means that he was keeping the OLD COVENANT ,

In Antioch it appears that Paul and Peter shared ministerial duties, with Peter focused on the Jewish population and Paul focused on the Greek populations.

But no, Peter didn't keep the Old Covenant.

and there is verse that says Peter was a POPE , or had a CHAIR and that a Priest can forgive SINS and there is NO Greek

word for PURGATORY .

So when you get over your cold , read Acts 15:5-10 says that Peter did keep the Law of MOSES

as did Gal 2:7 and Paul calls it THE CIRCUMCISION and not a GOSPEL as the Law of Moses would disappear

by Acts 28:25-28 !!

In verse 14 , Since you , being a Jew , live like a Gentile and NOT after the MANNER of the Jew why do you compel the

Gentiles to ADOPT Jewish custom and Rites ,

Peter was a Jew and kept the LAW of MOSES , Period !!

But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the Gospel, I said to Cephas before everyone, 'If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?'" - Galatians 2:12-14

Peter's conduct was hypocritical, because he was acting like a coward. Paul's rebuke served two purposes:

1) To correct Peter and remind him of his apostolic calling of the Gospel
2) To rebuke the Judaizers and their false understanding of Christianity.
