This was the last question to a trivia game that we played at youth group last sunday. Each of our five teams had to choose there smartest person to go out in the hall and come in one at a time. Only two teams, mine being one of them got it correct.
A mute walks into the store, and wants to buy a pair of sunglasses. So he imitates putting them on, and the clerk gets what he's saying and shows him the sunglasses. Later that some day a blind man walks in wanting to buy a toothbrush. He goes up to the store clerk, how does he communicate to the clerk what he wants?
Now think reall hard, and highlight below for the answer.
He'd simply say i need a toothbrush, he's blind not mute.
it's sad how many people get this wrong.
