for guys out there who have dealt with this - do you truly care about the people in your life when you are struggling with this? at times when you isolate, maybe out of guilt and shame/ depression/ etc. is it normal to lose interest in someone you used to be intensely attracted to after say a year? how did you? did you simply just move on to another girl? can the (first girl) remain someone you care about after you lose that type of interest if you have been friends?
i have to say though that there is a side of me too that reallyjust cares about him without the human side of relationship emotions. seeing things from God's eyes. its just not easy to always remain in that space. pls pray that i keep my focus on just loving his soul the way God does. i think i just need support for the times when i do think out of my flesh and not my spirit. thank you.
