CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sure. I think you've played Kingdom Hearts. jusst make a character. Note that because this story is largely held together by me, the rules of this universe are going to be more "realistic" than in the game, but not overmuch. I ask that you not make your character with the expectation of a ton of combat. There will be combat, but the focus here is on the story. If you have a warrior or mage type, that's fine, jus keep this in mind.

Ah, thank god. I hated the battle style of Kindom of Hearts. But then again, you do also like final fantasy. haha.
I'll think about it, but I might do Sleeping Beauty (If I recall in the games she didn't appear though her nemesis did) and I'd imagine her having mage like powers.
Am I swinging in the right direction?

What we have planned for this thread is a mix of Kingdom hearts, Disney, MD-land, Light-land, and a little Star Wars. The Kingdom Hearts concept allows for great flexibility in an RPG context, since we don't need to call George Lucas and negotiate a copyright deal. 
Light and I are using our own characters. But if you'd like to play Aurora, that's fine. She'll be about 11 years older than in the original game, though.

My character from "Lover", Sabrielle, is offd getting a guide for Aylus and Kaima right now. But we haven't decided who it's gonna be. We were going to limit said guide to Traverse Town, but perhaps we could expand him so he/she can travel with us?

Basically the very beginning. aylus and Kaima jjust woke up from the Void where they got their mission from Kingdom Hearts. They wake up and are currently in the process of figuring out who they are, where they are, what's going on, etc.
We know a few off the worlds we will be visiting, annd we have a rough idea of the overall plot, but it is all still still adjustable.

i think i need to fill in some info here. I'm typing fast, so don't mind my grammar.
Firstly, we're in a big building that serves as both a hospital and a 'holding center". Because of the danger of people coming into Traverse town infected by the darkness, or even of powerful Nobodies who look like normal people coming in, the Gummi ship hangar is now located on top of this building. by decree of the Council of Lost Worlds, anyone who falls into town or comes in by Gummi ship has to check in at the hospital and register their info with Registration. If they happen to be nobodies or infected, they are asked to leave or detained in the holding center.
we are standing in the big Registration room, surrounded by people working at computers. There is a huge column of blue light in the middle of the room that is the transport beam which connects the first floor to the Gummi hangar above and the holding center below.
Traverrse Town is where people go when their worlds have been destroyed, and is made from pieces of those lost worlds.
also, I don't think Aurora's world was destroyed. she's from enchanted Dominion, and was probably forced out by Maleficent.

Also, there is turmoil amongst the worlds at present due to a great battle between the worlds of Heavenflame and Syntheria. It's not really affecting Traverse Town, but is mainly a topic of discussion and hearsay. increased Heartless and Nobody activity is a persistent rumor.
