Why does Christ need to look over us again? He knows our lives completely. He is all knowing. He doesn't need to double check something he already knows. Also, this theology tends to go hand and hand with the perfection theology.

He doesn't. The Scripture says, "I know my sheep, and they know me."

The records are there to vindicate the justice of God Himself, and the justice of His Law. The Great Controversy is very broad and complex.

Also, this theology tends to go hand and hand with the perfection theology.

Here a little, there a little. Precept upon precept. You really have to prayerfully study the sanctuary message before you can jump to any conclusions. Remeber, "Your way, O Lord, is in the sanctuary."

God investigates every matter before He executes judgment. It is called fair, open justice.


Don't forget the text in Ezekiel, which explicitly states,

"I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations.....when I prove Myself holy in their sight." Ezekiel 36:23


This was a type for the investigative judgment.


Have you studied the sanctuary doctrine in depth? Have you followed DL's study?

I don't think you can agree with it, and not with the IJ. The IJ is clearly spelt out in it's message. You come face to face with the Law of God in the MHP, which is why Satan seeks to destroy this great truth.

I still have a fiew problems with the IJ but they are extremely minor in nature. The Bible supports the cleansing of the sancturary to start in 1844. Rev11:18 makes it very clear that the dead would be judged and the immediate context of this verse speaks of the sanctuary in heaven where the ark of the covenant is.

I don't think God needs 160 years to judge the dead to see who is worthy of salvation but the entire intelligencia of the unfallen universe may. You see it's not just us here on earth that this sin problem concerns. It's the whole universe.

God knows everything that is going to happen. He just buys his time to execute judgment.

What exactly is this? Some of my questions: For the Christian, what happens if he's not fully forgiven by the time of his death? How does he receive full forgiveness? Does he have assurance of this in this life? There may be other queries depending on the responses. Thanks in advance for any information.
