CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I Like Inuyasha sooo much. My Cousin got me hooked on it. The only thing is I wish they would amiricanize it a little more... You know take out some of the nude scenes.

I adore Inuyasha. My Friend thought for a cartoon/demon he's pretty hott. I got my little cousin hooked on it. Now he loves.

It's anime, fictional and fantasy. It's pretty much a given that the characters aren't going to be going around proclaiming Christ as Savior.

I haven't seen a whole lot of Inuyasha, though, so I can't really say much about whatever religion (if any) is presented. I'm not going to go into the theological incorrectness of Inuyasha being half-demon and still capable of any good at all, but... it's anime.

Ok just reading off of the first one. I just want to ask how long have you been watching this. First off all the characters arent demon slayers. only sango is. Inuyasha is a half demon. his father was a full demon the ruler of the western lands while his mom was a human. Kagome is a 15 year old girl from 500 years in the future. Shippo is an orpaned Kitsune (fox demon). Sango is a demon slayer. and Miroku is a Lecherus Monk.
It comes on at 11:30 (central time) on Mon-Thurs. and 11:00 on Sat.
It is ending in Japan on Sept 7 if im correct on its 164th episode. In america we are somewhere in the eary 70s or late 60s.
there is already 1 playstation game out and another is coming out this fall.
there are 3 inuyasha movies in japan but another one is coming out in Decemeber. The First movie is coming out in english this fall straight on video. The second is coming out in english in december.
i apologize if i seemed rude or anything. Its just that i can get really defensive about inuyasha (my obsession)

Yeah, Inu-Yasha is a great anime, up there with Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin. I thought that showing it once every week is not enough, because you'll have to wait so long for the next episode to play. The episode's somewhere in the 70's or 80's, and that means 1 year of playing won't finish out the series. And the translation work must continue. I just wish I could speak Japanese and buy the DVD's and such to make my interest level stay up there.
They always find a new way to interest me in the episodes, not just a "kill demon, next demon" thing. That's one of the reasons I'm waiting another 167 1/2 hours to watch another 1/2 hour episode.

Inuyasha is a great anime, one of the few I watch at the moment. I'm just glad they are showing new episodes and not re-runs.
