When does ryoga come into the magnas? (I think that's his name, it's the demon boy that has the tan outfit on with black hair in a high ponytail??) I'm not excatally sure what his name is because I haven't gotten that far in the books, and I don't watch the cartoon.

IMO = in my opinion

mallgoth = those losers who shop and hottopic, hang out in malls, and are generally idiots. They usually think they are hardcore goth/punk/metalheads because they shop there, and they think they're 'rebelious', or evil, what have you because its...'non-conformist', when really, they are just as bad as the abercrombie crowd.

Well.... I shop at Hot Topic, and I hung out at the mall tonight...does that put me in that category? Well I don't thinkthat I'm rebelious or a metalhead. I mean I listen to that kind of music, and I'm in a band. (Which is actually pretty good )

So IDK. Haha tell me, so I can know if I do fit into that genere..or w/e haha

well, you don't really SOUND like a mallgoth.
Just beause you shop at that place doesn't generally put you in that category. (i loathe that place personally). Its how you act that makes you a mallgoth or not. In my description i should have put the fist scentence last to avoid confusion.
Let me clarify a little.
-You can recognize them (im sure you go to highschool, and i'm sure you've noticed cliques around) by those kids that wear band tees usually sporting Slipknot/mudvayne/Korn, nu-metal kinda stuff. OR, any of the 'humor' shirts found around hottopic and such, you know, that stuff thats maybe* good for one laugh and then its old.
-They usually have no musical knowledge, and if they do, it's mediocre (power chords and intros usualy top their skills)
- generally, they do what they do because they think its 'rebellious' or just to get attention. Some of the guys will wear skirts, and the girls are most often bi or lesbian
- etc. etc.
Trust me, you'll recognize em and know if your one of em or not.

anyway, i'm always into hearing new bands, and bands of people i've seen or met intrest me alot (second only to melodic death bands). So, if you have any recordings, or a website. Email me the link or send me a sample, i'd be glad to hear.

i don't see whats so great about inuyasha. I've seen quite a few episodes and none are really interesting. Inuyasha (the chacter) is annoyingly arrogant and the whole group say each others names and 'demon' like, every 10 seconds...

While I don;t always like Inuyasha...I do love the interaction and the growth between the characters. Althtough I admit shows like Fullmetal are much more consistant and ongoing within the storyline...as well as much more more interesting.

While I like to see the chatacacter mature, it doesn't need to be as dragged out.

And yes, 35 yes old and loving snime. Helped me get into writing and drawing actually, Fullmetal, has to be one of my favorites.

^^^awsome, i totally agree (with the last statement) because if it wasn't for anime i probably wouldn't have found the inspiration for alot of my drawings/ fanfics/ and just plain writings. kinda in the same way metal inspired me to pick up a guitar (bass, now) and just play, inspired me to try and become as good as those we all look up to. If it wasn't for anime, i would have no ideas to pitch to my friends, or any ideas for friends' requests, or anything that required that i write or draw.

Well I'm def. not one then. Haha. I've done music since I was like 3 and I'm going to major in it :o Although I do like SlipKnoT though. I'm not bi or a lesbian *nothing wrong with it, I just think it's gross* And yeah I def. notice the cliques in my high school. *sadly some of those people are my friends haha* But what I dislike more, are the people who don't even listen to the music at all, and just do it because it's "in" now *whether or not that's what you were talking about I'm not sure* but those are normally more the "preppy" (for lack of a better word) people.

well, i'm glad to see a teen whos hasn't picked up an instrument because it's suddenly, popular to do. I've been into music (its about 90% of my life) for years now, but i've only played bass for two years , i tried guitar, but it doesn't appeal to me as the funk of the bass, and you can't slap or pop on a guitar!
anyway, seeing as how you guys plan to release a CD, then surely, before then you should have Audio files on the recorder or PC, which you can import to the myspace server and link em from your website...not sure how, i just know it can be done.
So what style are you? I mean, i know the site says "Slipknot and metallica, rock stuff" but many bands are influenced by metallica, can't say the same for slipknot. BUt anyway, what genre would you consider yourselfs? I used to be in a Power Metal band called Final Resistance but now im trying to find two guitarists (who think alike, thats the essential i haven't found yet) for a Black metal band, Lord of Worms.

And about the Inyasha demon thing: yes, in fact, they do. The one i sat through recently had 'demon' said seven times....just in the preview of the next show! thats only like, 30 seconds! Anyway, i guess you can see the extent of what im talking about

We recorded onto a tape yesterday, we just don't know how to put it onto the computer. :-/ Haha and our singer is never there. But it's not like his part is hard *(no offense to any of the singers out there.)*

We're sorta like metal, just without all the "off the wall solos" I just started playing guitar myself, and I've taught myself everything. Hur hur. But hopefully we can record soon and I can at least send you them. *If you think they suck haha sorry*

To bad you don't like live near me, I'd say you should come check out the show haha.

You mean airbrush? those look okay, but i'm not sure about an anime one...

too band indeed, i enjoy seeing people's bands...even if they're hardcore, i'd still see anyone.
I'm also self-taught, all my skill (not that i have any) is just from practicing so much, though some knowledge on music theory could help, i have very little so sometimes i have a hard time composing, when the solution's right in front of me, i hardly notice. (like when i strech to hit an E, but i can also hit a closer fret for speed and ease)
And about my band, see, we never really got into recording, most of the times we playe at gigs were more or less, practice as a stage act, none of use were planning to become uber-serious as a band, but i hope to do that with the BM band though.
Its a suprise i don't see you around the secular music forum
