  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Im an introvert, but when I am around close friends or people that I know very well, I can be extroverted.
By the way, I am curious where is the link for this mbti test.

I find myself on occasion when spending too much with too many people, I tend to crave some alone time and go out to the mountains and recharge. Overall, I tend to prefer being alone than being with people.

That last part is what makes you an introvert, not how you behave around other people. Introversion/extroversion has nothing to do with how you interact with people but rather the amount of social interaction that you want/need.

but i've noticed that people tend to put unnecessary expectation on us introvert thinking that theres something wrong with us when we enjoy being alone. It can be difficult for people to understand introverts. Every year I go camping with a bunch of friends but its always the same, we keep the numbers to a maximum of 4 people, and we truly enjoy the time together, we spend time up in the mountains and afterwards, i feel slightly refreshed in one area, fatigued in another area.
oh well, I guess its life for us to always be "odd" and I like it that way.

I agree.

One big fallacy, is many believe introverts are just shy people and that is not the case. As a general rule, introverts just don't require the same level of social interaction, than extroverts do and don't seek it. Also, introverts don't require the same amount of attention from others, as many extroverts do.
