There are so many new people joining this thread lately that I thought it might be nice to start an introduction thread. Each person can answer the following questions:

1. How long have you been an SDA?
2. What's your favorite color?
3. Your favorite song to sing at church?
4. Your favorite Bible verse?
5. Another random fact about yourself

I'll start:

1. All my life
2. My fav color is deffanitly pink!
3. Hmm - I have so many fav songs, but today I liked singing "Sound the Battle Cry"
4. This changes all the time, but I always come back to Galatians 2:20 (see my footer)
5. I am currently starting a ministry for kids and families and I love it!

Each person can answer the following questions:

1. How long have you been an SDA? 2 1/2 years

2. What's your favorite color? Yellow

3. Your favorite song to sing at church? This is going to be a shocker, but I really love Trust And Obey.

4. Your favorite Bible verse? 1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

5. Another random fact about yourself I soak my feet in Listerine once a week. HA! It keeps your toenails pretty and kills fungus (plus your feet smell minty fresh). I got the idea from one of my professors, who, by the way, has great toenails!

Great idea!

1. How long have you been an SDA? First attended church April '06, but had considered myself one since the fall before then. Almost 2 years.
2. What's your favorite color? Blue!!!
3. Your favorite song to sing at church? Hm. Don't know the names yet, but I love the praise/worship music.
4. Your favorite Bible verse? I could name so many! *lol* Currently: "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." - Matthew 6:34
5. Another random fact about yourself: My passion is psychology, graphic design, and God. I hope to one day either be an evangelist or chrsitian counsellor.

4. Your favorite Bible verse? Have several-but one is (Ps 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.)

5. Another random fact about yourself. I am a Massage therapist and a colon hydrotherapist. It's been wonderful to be able to place the bible and EGW books in my office and witness to my clients about God. He has given me both a career and a ministry in one.

How long SDA? Started going to church x-mas 06, Baptized June 23, 2007

Favorite Color? Black

Favorite song to sing at church? The coloring song. We don't sing it at church, we sing it at Vespers but I love that song.

Favorite Bible verse? Don't really have one memorized but there are so many that have hit me hard.

Another random fact about myself? I was just baptized into a church. The SDA church on top of that. Ha if only you knew how random of a fact that is for me. You know, it's one of those if people from school could see me now they would be very shocked.

Yea old friends and finding the truth is not easy. I just have to move on and hope the lord works on them in their own time and way. I am very lucky that my church has wonderful people and they have really made the effort to bring my family and I into their lives.

My friends from school would be totally shocked at me these days too. I always went to church during those days, but I wasn't a true believer back then for sure.

God really does touch us in different ways and at different times.
