Hi all,

I decided tp now to join a forum as find social media platform like Facebook not that great, prefer meaningful conversation.
I'm Stuart from Australia not currently working, my previous career was Army. I medically discharged - PTSD/Depression.

Religion has helped me a lot, l use to drink and take drugs, now l don't do anything just keep to myself. Have burnt few bridge in my past so thought maybe forum like this is good ways to vent my thoughts.

I do not really know much about the Bible, but l like - Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I feel like respect wrong word to use when say this, but l really respect Romans 12 chapter.

I'm sad to hear about the PTSD/Depression. I've found saying the Lord's prayer to be very calming for me.

Sounds eerily familiar. And welcome. Admire, revere? Regarding how you feel about the romans verse perhaps. I was well versed in drink and drugs before, so if you want to unload your mind on that stuff, you can PM me and do it in private without judgement. I am also new to the bible and this place. Just been here a month or so, learned a lot, so I can point you to the stuff I have focused on for now, and do some conversations about what the verses mean. I do not have a job either, so I have time on my hands. Probably going out for some hours in a bit, but after that I can spend some hours doing biblestudy. Or just chatting
