Hi there, I wish to introduce myself to the forum as a new person here, my name is Lynne, I come from Australia, I am married with two sons, ages 22 and 20, with a little baby grandson 7 months old. I gave my heart to thelord almost 14 years ago in a pentecostal church, was baptised with the holy spirit within a week of being saved, then got water baptised in August of 1989 (the middle of winter - should have had my head read)..LOL. anyway, I love the lord with all my heart and want to serve him the best I know how. I have always maintained in my heart and have said to the enemy that he might have me down but he will never have me out. that is my motto and I am holding to that no matter what. My husband is a christian also. God has given me the gifts of being a prayer warrior as well as an encourager. I hope I can be an encourager for anyone that needs a friend. God bless you

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
