Hello,

Many years ago God transferred me from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of His beloved Son. It has been a rough ride to say the least but The Lord has provided for and delivered me to a glorious extent. Nevertheless, I still struggle with doubts. For this reason I am interested in apologetics, and that's why I have registered for this forum. As I approach the end (age 71) I'm praying that I can end well.

Welcome to Christian Forums. I attended a church youth group fellowship when I was a high school student. I remember singing hymns. My high school physics teacher had a Bible study at his house. I went there, thought he was imperfect, but failed to see my own errors.

I wandered for sometime after high school until I prayed, my only hope is if there is a God. I read the Gospels, Acts and the Epistles. I read the OT. In my 60’s I realize God is real, yet am not aware of God’s full extent. In Christian Forums I read posts from people living all over the world. Much of the time the topics are of little interest. Other times I found joy. If you are looking for a gemstone you may need to sift through piles of gravel. One looking for truth may need to pray to find true sources.

Last night there was lightening flashing all around my home. It woke me up. The thunder was very loud immediately following a lightening flash, the power flickered off and on. I prayed for mercy. Soon the thunder became further away. I thanked God I have a whole house surge protector. One year a neighborhood house was hit by lightening and set on fire.

As we get older I believe we all hope we will be able to end well. I just lost my husband in April who was a Christian, he was young, 60, but I feel like he ended well and transitioned to the next life very well from what I could tell and I was there at that moment.

Would it be okay to ask you what type of doubts you're struggling with? We may be able to offer more input if we have more understanding.
