My name is Heather, and I'm currently being courted by a wonderful man named Steven. Assuming all goes well with his job, we hope to be engaged sometime in 2006 and married in 2007. My name is Terri and i'm currently dating a GREAT guy who I love dearly and could go on and on about, but i'll save you guys from that. Hi's name is Ben, and we've been dating for a little over a year. We met when he was a freshman in H.S. and i was a sophmore and started dating my sr. year. If all goes as planned (God willing) we'll be married soon after i graduate from college. Currenly we're in a LDR, he lives in northern Ohio and i'm in soutern Ohio, so we're about 2.5 hours apart (not to bad), but he's hoping to get accepted to MIT, so he'll be in Boston and i'll be in Ohio and then it'll be a serious LDR.

A few months before i was born one of my mom's really good friends passed away (cancer i think) and her name was Terri. Mom wanted to name me Terri, but she wasn't sure she could do that, so she named me Tara, but has always called me Terri

I don't give out my name on here, so just call me Maeyken. I'm a nurse at a large-ish teaching hospital. I've been working there since June. I'm engaged to a wonderful guy, and we're getting married in June Only 6 months left!! My fiance is in his second year of seminary.

We got engaged in September. My engagement ring was at the jewellers getting resized for a week and a half and I missed it a lot, but he brought it over before he went to work today. I'm so glad to have it back!

My name is Nesi, I'm married to a Vietnamese man named Tuan (who is not a Christian) and we have one child, Abby (8 and a half months). I do post here quite a bit even though I'm married.. I made a lot of dating mistakes in my past and if anyone can learn from *my* mistakes before they make their own similar mistakes, then all the better

I most often give advice about dating/marrying non-Christians (other then "don't do it" believe it or not, hehe, but thats the biggest piece of advice on the subject whether people like it or not) and LDRs (I was also in two LDRs before I married my husband [my husband was a third LDR], we lived on opposite coasts of Canada). I also know way too much about getting too close while dating, the dangers of premarital sex, living together before marriage, etc etc etc.

Christ came to save sinners of whom I truly truly am the wrost, hehe

Not everyone cares for my posts, I'm usually brutally honest and straight to the point, and people need to just like it or lump it Some people have issues hearing the hard honest advice, but if they want fluffy "it'll all work out with rainbows" advice there are plenty of other people to get that from on CF, they don't need me to do it too

You are much tougher than I could ever be. If my relationship with Steve doesn't work out and I feel the need to move on, I will turn and run as far away from an LDR as possible! I am not going through that again!!!!

Thanks for all the great advice you've given me and others. It's really helpful. You're right. There are too many people giving fluffy responses out there. Sometimes we need to hear the bare truth. God bless!

Hi everyone, I'm Kate and I'm madly in love with my boyfriend Phill. (yes, two L's) We've been dating for just over 1 year and 4 months and we will get engaged sometime in the next 2 years. I'm still at uni and he's working full time, so we're hoping to get engaged in my last year of uni. Wedding planning and uni exams just don't mix!

I give a bit of advice, I've been there, done most things, and I find I can help people with that. I've also had lots of experiences with abuse unfortunately so I try to help with that a little bit. I am very lucky to have Phill.
