Welcome, Rob. It's nice to have you here.Hey all, I'm Rob, age 22, and not a typical Fundie. I fit the definition, but I'm a bit of a horse of a different color. I scare the Fundies because of how I look, and I irritate the Liberal Christians for my stances on various subjects. I'm a political moderate, and absolutely anti-denominational in my religion. In my faith, I owe absolute allegiance to God.
I'm an open book, so if you ever have a question, feel free to ask!
Yeah Robb, My old home church was a Calvary Chapel. I still attend their young adult ministry called "the bridge" there to visit some friends. WELCOME!Welcome, Rob. It's nice to have you here.![]()
Sorry, I was going by your icon.Interestingly enough, my old church was a Calvary Chapel, but my current one, Scum of the Earth, isn't affiliated with a denomination.

I never heard of a person being fundie but not conservative...whata!Hello,
My church is an independant evangelical baptist church. Quite Spurgeon-like, maybe a bit less calvinist. My grandfather was the pastor, but since his death my father is in charge (having a secular job besides). So i was raised in a strong christian background.
I think i'm a fundie, but not conservative. The "KJV-Only" debate is of course irrelevant to me, since there can be no such debate with french versions. The version probably most used by the french fundamentalists was made by Louis Segond, who was a liberal. But there are many other good versions. Anyway, i don't think it's a good think to have too much different versions, it causes confusions, and the new versions published recently often aren't satisfactory.
