Hello all,
I have been over on the Baptist/Anabaptist thread for a couple of weeks and decided it was time to make an intro over here.
I am a windower of about 7 months. I am the father of two, my wife's 16 year old son whom I claim as my own
and my 12 year old daughter from a previous marriage who spends every other weekend with us. We live in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania at a Mennonite Retreat Center and Youth Camp. It is wonderful here. I am surrounded by other believers from a diverse theological background.
My wife of 7 years and I came back to the Lord together about 6 years ago. He changed our lives. It was wonderful to know that my wife was ready to move on to paradise. Candice died of a brain tumor caused by breast cancer. From the time we found out about the tumor we had 2 months to prepare for her departure. We shared our story online at [ANCHOR="freysinger.net"]Our Story[/ANCHOR]
I am a little unique as a widower. I was married and divorced twice before meeting Candice. I decided long ago that if anything happened to Candice I would not remarry. The remainder of my life will spent raising my children and serving God.
It is nice to meet other widows and widowers. Many blessings to you all.
Daniel
