  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I Know I dont have my icon(though I have REPEATEDLY said I was WOF and asked how to get the icon), let me say that I am shocked that all I see spoken of by WOFers is faith. Faith alone doesnt bring about anything.
A blind man was sitting by the road. The disciples asked who had sinned, him or his parents. Jesus replied neither, walked over to the guy, spit on the ground, put the mud in his eyes(my paraphrase of course). Then he directed him to go wash. This man didnt have faith....not one single ounce. We know that because when he was asked who healed him, he had no idea. So hear me....you can meditate until you are blue in the face...believe until hell freezes over....but if your not obedient to Gods Word and decrees, it aint gonna happen.

If you want the WOF icon you go to "control panel" then to the left you see "settings and options" go to
"edit profile/MyCFhomepage" and you set your icon there - you may have to PM a moderator if you did not set it up when you signed up originally.

There are many ways to be healed, faith for an instant manisfestation is just one way not the only way.

Different ways to be healed.

Please do not make accusations on a broad scale, unless it holds true to every single one.

There are a few of us who have repeatedly spoken about Love. Most WoFers DO realize that faith only works by Love - true faith that is. And most also know the words of Jesus "Those that love Me keep my commandments." Maybe we don't spell it out often enough, but we do understand it, and most probably assume (maybe incorrectly?) that it's understood.

So if Love for Christ is the primary focus, the obedience AND faith fall in line. We do know this, unfortunately, people assume we don't.

Hmm...Ok Creg...Let me see...I have a Phd in Theology, gradutated from RHEMA, then went to World Harvest Bible College and was instrumental in forming the African office of Jerry Savelle Ministries...I currently pastor a church...I think I know very well the tenants of WOF. But thank you for your "concern".
Kenneth Copeland, who I consider to be the greatest WOF teacher in the World, would say definately that love(as you stated Msbojingles-my apologies), obedience, and faith are 3 things that must interact for true victory, whether it be physical, spiritually, or mental prosperity one is seeking.
Diatheke, thank you for those instructions.

Uh...congratulations? Look man, you can put your fist down. I'm not trying to start anything with you and I wasn't trying to attack you. All I know is that you came in on the post without a WOF icon and it appeared as though you were going down the "why WOF is wrong" road that so many others come in here and do. I think everyone's defenses are a little high due to the mess going on in the main Spirit Filled/Charismatic Forum next door regarding WOF. I thought you may have been a wolf wanting a sheep's icon. :D I'm sorry if I offended you.

No sir...I apologize to everyone if I came across that way...LOL...I assure you, I didnt know how to truly walk as a believer until I ran across Kenneth Copeland one morning, years ago.....It woke me up to who I was in Christ and what His sacrifice give me access to.
I have seen some of the arguements going on...and it is truly sad. But as a pastor, I see where many who were once a part of mainstream denominational churches (and I`m not being critical or any denomination), have what I call a "gray area".....For example, I know of a woman who prayed for healing and truly believed healing would come...in all honesty, I saw faith in her that I had very rarely seen EVER....however, she had some unforgiveness toward some family members and she wasnt a tither..so her love walk was hindered and she wasnt obedient to the decrees of the Lord Jesus. And, she wouldnt listen to counsel.
When she died, her family members just said "well, we dont know why she passed. I guess the secret things belong to the Lord". To me, that was creating a "gray area"...Rather than analyzing the situation and seeking God on where things went wrong, they created this gray area to explain the things they didnt really want explainations to. What Brother Copeland taught me is this...there are 2 people involved in the day to day happenings in my life-me and the Lord Jesus Christ. If at some point in time, I dont see His Word working in my situations, I know there is only one place blame can be laid...and that is with me. God is not a man that He should lie, so if I know my authority in Christ, I apply the Word to my situation and believe God will bring victory and victory doesnt come, then I am in err somewhere and its time to seek Him on where I am missing it. And this gray area applies to finances, all sorts of family problems, issues of the mind...the list is endless. The problem with gray areas is simple....white must meet black to create gray...much like light has to meet darkness to create a shadow...and cold must meet hot to create "lukewarm"....and we know that to be lukewarm is more dangerous than being cold.
I have a simple rule of thumb taught to me by Brother Savelle that I have shared over the years...when asked if something is covered by the Cross, I simply say this...."If it wasnt here before the fall of Adam, it is a result of sin (which, for the sake of staying somewhat on topic, sin is defined as both disobedience AND unbelief) and if its a result of sin, then Jesus` sacrifice covers it and redeemed us from it.
God bless!

Hi Rev J! I am Creg's wife and was just reading through here before finally being good and going to bed. :) I can tell you that we have seen exactly what you are talking about. The gray area, in our experience and ministry, is "thy will be done." Like you, Bro. Copeland was the first minister who God used to really open the eyes of my heart when I was coming out of years in a certain denomination. When those religious scales fell from my eyes, boy were the scriptures clear!

Anyway, hubby just now popped in here and asked me to let you know that he is sorry about the misunderstanding. Also, he is excited for when you get the WOF icon up so you can get in here and get to talking more as he thinks you'll be a great asset.

Great post!

Faithfully His,
SFW
