• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. Hi people.

Im soooooooooo sad, and I caused myself this whole mess. I am a born again christian, but I don't always do what is right, but I mean sometimes it seems like what I do is worse than other christians. I have been feeling empty and I wanted someone to smuther that emptiness with sex. Now I feel worse and abandoned and I know God forgives me, but I just want to know He's around because I am very sad now and feel confused and lost. I am a bad christian. Sometimes I wonder even if I am a christian, but I know I am a christian because I am a new creation in Jesus Christ. I just need the Life of Christ to fill me, because these stupid temptations bring me down worse than I was before. I not only want to be where I was before, but even more...trusting Him. I only want HIS intimate love and when the time is right, HE will give me a mate. Amen.

EM, God loves you, no matter what. Sin does not keep Him from loving you.

But sin hurts you, and it has consequences. Far, far better to avoid sin than to fall into it again.

May I suggest? Go to God, ask Him to forgive you. He will:

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness."

God loves you, you are His precious daughter. God will NEVER give up on you--don't give up on yourself!
