I don't. There are times when I would really like to....but living in the suburbs of a big city .... it could be risky. I have stopped to assist when someone was obviously having car trouble or out of gas, etc.

I used to have a cat who would answer the phone. Actually, push it off the hook when it rang and meow into it. He was doing it a while before I realized it.

{By then, he had already stolen my friends, changed my bank accounts, and ruined my reputation.}

Still, I adored that guy. When he was young, I called him "The Kid" and when he got older I called him "The Old Man". When he passed away, at 12, he took a hunk of my heart with him.

Not one of my cats today care to answer the phone.
