Well I've finally started my pastoral internship in Portland, OR/ Vancouver, WA. moved up here a couple weeks ago from southern Colorado in my van packed with everything I own. one of the church members here gave me an old travel trailer which is now parked in another member's drive way and I am looking for a bill-paying side job. (the churches idea of a stipend being dismal at best) anyone need a house in southern Colorado? but things are looking up, I passed a Millwright journeyman test with UBC union and am on their out of work list, so the long term expenses should be taken care of, it's just the immediate I have to worry about. The internship responsibilities haven't really even started yet.

So wish my luck/ keep me in prayers/ and if you live in/around portland pm me take me out for a beer liberate me from supreme bordom/ assure me that eventually the sun will shine here/and or rain doesn't last forever

Trust in G-d not 'Luck' which has its origins in Lucifer. G-d will provide what you need to serve him, he always has. Just don't let your expectations be too high, remember all we really need is clothing, food and shelter and the love of G-d and that will sustain us through anything. Everything else is just gravy! :) Will pray for you, I understand the gloominess, get as much daylight as you can, take walks, even in the overcast days, it helps.Make sure you are getting the proper amount of B6 and St Johns wort helps a lot too, check it out.
