This morning the FCC voted to protect real Net Neutrality, doing what millions of people have called for: restoring the agency's authority to protect Internet users under Title II of the Communications Act.

Woooooooo Hooooooooooo!!!

I know I've heard of a state that has a buyer's "use" tax on goods bought on ebay/amazon if they come in from out of the state... *South Dakota* You have send in transaction data for everything you buy online, but it's not audit-able.

This tax would've been different and would involve making the internet a "utility" and the ISP's would be similar to the power companies, and the controls would be the same.

Did you read the link above?

Thank you kindly.

Would you mind elaborating?

Thank you kindly.

I believe he was referring to the fact that anonymity does not exist any longer. The feds can find you any time they feel like it. And they seem to have a habit of busting people for things that wouldn't have caused a stir twenty years ago.
