  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have had nothing but problems ever since I downloaded IE7. Among other things, after a few select/pastes, say here on CF, the next "right click" of mouse or keyboard closes all the windows and takes me back to the desktop. Sometimes a backspace or delete key will do the same thing. Once the "reply" key on CF did it.

Is this a problem with IE7, CF or a really wicked combination of the two? What would you suggest?

IE7 works fine on CF for me. Not sure what the problem would be.

I second the use Firefox sounds like IE7 is messed up, some kind of exploit you came across in your travels that now has IE7 messed up... FF has never had that problem to my knowledge and I've surfed far and wide...... if you persist in using IE7 (a bad idea as that's what the worms, trojans, virii and scripts generally target) then download the installer, backup only your bookmarks, uninstall IE7 and install it again..... and write down your passwords and user names into notepad just long enough to use them to log in to all your sites....
